All right, welcome everybody. Welcome to the SDA I call

0:07
hope everybody's doing well. Everybody knows the drill. But if you got some questions, bottom of the Google meet window, there's a little hand icon. You go ahead and click that. That allows you to raise your hand. We can get you guys in order, so we can start answering some questions.

0:26
So, yeah, anything? SDA, I related, high level related. We'll go ahead and take those questions, hopefully help you guys get some answers. So feel free, like I said, go ahead and click that icon. Let's get you guys in order. It looks like Sarah, it's like you're the first up. So let's go ahead and have you unmute and ask your question.

0:48
Good morning. Good morning.

0:51
So I am working on a smart directory that was downloaded to our account by somebody else, and I've already built everything the way I want it to look. I have a bunch of stuff in there, but I was trying to,

1:08
like, change one of the email templates and then make sure the workflows

1:13
work properly before I actually launched the site. And I realized that there are no templates

1:20
on the smart directory. That I'm working on and there's no workflows or anything downloaded, and I cannot figure out how to

1:28
reconnect those. Got it. Okay. So what we need to do, can you go ahead and share your screen with us real quick? I

1:44
yeah, you can record it.

1:47
Okay, let's see.

1:50
I'm trying to go here. Can you guys see it?

1:56
Not yet, no, but it should be, hello. Set the right button.

2:04
That work?

2:08
Nope, not yet. I'm not seeing anything just yet.

2:14
Presentation is this. Presentation is starting.

2:21
Let's see what's happening. Yeah,

2:25
sometimes it can take a minute to load.

2:32
There we go. Oh, there we go. Okay, excuse me.

2:39
So dashboard, obviously. And then so Sarah, real quick, did you ever install the snapshot

2:48
that we have? So I took this over from somebody else who initially downloaded it and put everything in. I was told that it's all in there. So I went straight into the other trainings that I had was given with, like the branding, the plans, all that kind of stuff. And then I got to the part of that training where it

3:10
talks about the emails, and that's when I realized those workflows and email templates and everything were missing. So I don't know if snapshots on here. Okay, let's just real quick. Let's check a couple of things. On the left side, click on sites for me right

3:25
here, yep,

3:28
and we'll just look in Okay, so there's no funnel in there, and then click on automation on the left hand side for me, and

3:37
there, yeah, there's no workflows. There's nothing in here. Okay, yeah, so most likely the snapshot was never installed. So what we want to do, I'm gonna go ahead and drop a link to this right now, and hopefully you can pull that up for us. Since you're sharing the screen, can you still see the chat? I just dropped a link in chat.

4:00
If you can open that up, I'll show you where to go. Okay,

4:08
did you get that open? Yeah, can you, Oh, I did change my share, huh?

4:14
Yeah, I can't see it on my side.

4:17
What you want to do, there's a video,

4:20
and then right below that, there's a title. It says resources. And then right below that, it says,

4:28
Click here to import your smart directory. Snapshot.

4:32
Last updated, March, 5, 2026, do you see that

4:36
on that page?

4:38
Resources?

4:42
Yes. Okay. So have you ever? Have you ever installed a snapshot into a sub account before

4:49
you know that? No, not personally, okay, so what you'll first do is you're going to click that link to import this into the agency. You.

5:00
An agency level account.

5:05
If you share your screen, we could, I could walk you through it. I just can't see where you're at right now, for some reason, I don't know why. It's not, it's

5:14
you might have to do entire screen

5:18
so we can see all the tabs, like if you're switching between tabs. I

5:23
think that's how Google meet, does it? If I remember?

5:37
Okay, sorry, guys, that's okay, no worries.

5:44
Oh, I found that okay.

5:51
No, it's not gonna let me i

6:04
It's not letting me share my entire screen.

6:11
Can you share that tab? Can you share the tab when you after you click that link,

6:19
it's the the

6:23
this one, I think,

6:25
can you see that? Yes, I can see that.

6:30
Awesome. So what you need to do is log into your agent, your high level agency account,

6:35
just this. Log into app, Yep, see

6:39
that always open Some other tap and then you

6:55
can't see it.

7:03
Okay, well, it's not let me share turn if i is all of the instructions on this page here, I believe so in that video. Yeah, one thing you just need to make sure of is that you are logged into high level at a pp.go, high level.com

7:21
so make sure you're not logged in under your white label. You are your white label domain.

7:28
So log in under a P, p.go, high level.com at the agency level, you'll be able to import the snapshot. Then from the agency level, you'll be able to go into a sub account

7:42
and load the snapshot into that sub account.

7:50
Okay, perfect, yeah, so did you already? Did you already get it in here?

7:55
So I just close that box.

8:02
Sharing.

8:07
Okay,

8:09
so this is just our GHL agency, yep. So did you already import the snapshot?

8:19
No, okay, because you'll want to go that link that I shared in the chat. You'll want to go to that link, and you'll want to click the text that says, Click here to import your smart directory. AI, snapshot. Do,

8:57
I share this one.

9:02
There we go.

9:05
Use custom name

9:07
if you want it's up to you, or you can just leave it,

9:11
Yep, cool. Then you can close that box. Now on the left hand side, you'll click on sub accounts. You

9:23
and then you'll click on the sub account that you

9:32
want to load this

9:39
into P there you okay?

9:46
So just click on the name. I'll click on the name, okay,

9:50
and then the top right. Once this loads, you click Actions on top right.

10:00
And then from the Action menu, you should be able to click on Load snapshot, I believe, yep, oh, there. Okay. And then just go ahead and select the snapshot. Yep, there it is, right there, march 5. And then go ahead and hit proceed, and that will install all of the assets that you'll need, including the email templates in there. Okay,

10:25
do I need to select anything else? Go ahead and select all proceed. Okay, confirm and then, yeah, everything will be in there, so now you'll be able to continue on.

10:37
Oh, awesome. Thank you. Templates, of course. Yeah, perfect, perfect. Okay, great, thanks, awesome. Yep, no worries. Sarah, happy to help,

10:48
right? Guys, anybody else questions? So

10:52
just go ahead and click on that hand icon. Chris, yeah, what's going on? Oh,

10:59
hi, this is Sheila. Oh, Sheila, what's happening? Just using a different computer? I have three questions. I just want to follow up on what you told Sarah. First,

11:11
you know, upload days ago, I installed a new sub account, and I went and got the license, and I put it into the license box, and it immediately just downloaded the whole thing. So after hearing you talking to Sarah, I'm wondering if I if there's another step I should do, or if I'm fine, because the whole thing, the snapshot and everything came in,

11:41
and I'll just, I'll just share my screen so you can

11:46
share my screen.

11:56
Okay, let me see how to share the screen. Yep, share screen.

12:07
I think I'm on a different

12:10
it's not showing in the selections.

12:15
Yeah, I'm not fan of Google meet, yeah, okay. Zoom is so much easier. I feel like, yeah, okay, so see, the whole thing came in. So

12:26
this was just a couple days ago, so I'm just wondering, is there anything else to do? Or I'm fine, well, that's the that's the app. But did the snapshot come in?

12:38
So go ahead on the left hand side, click on sites or automation so we can just give anything

12:46
go to sites. Okay, yep,

12:49
okay, yeah, so the smart directory AI funnel is in there, and then click on automations

12:58
on the left hand. Yeah, okay, yeah.

13:03
And you never loaded this snapshot. I guess I know, I think it's in my it's in my main account, but I didn't realize that there was another step to do.

13:17
See all this doesn't mean that the snapshot came in right? The smart direct? No, it, yeah, that's what it's showing here. It says, So, this one says last updated or created on July 15, 2025,

13:34
so that's interesting.

13:37
I don't know if,

13:40
oh yeah, right there. Okay, let's, let's go see. Let's see when this was loaded into the

13:47
sub account.

13:50
Let's see. What's the best way to do that? We could go to it so you

13:55
don't remember loading. This is what you're saying. Yeah, right. The whole thing just kind of came in with the, you know, when I put the license key in. So I thought I was, I was all set, but I guess not. So I have to go in and do the,

14:09
do the snapshot,

14:14
see, see all this came in.

14:17
So I thought that, that I was good.

14:21
Oh, I'm sorry. I'm showing the wrong, wrong, wrong. What do you call sorry, plastic surgery.

14:29
We find the right thing here.

14:35
Yeah, so this is the new one.

14:39
Okay, let's go ahead and check and see if that one has the snapshot loaded in.

14:46
Okay, so I'll go to automation, yeah, just see if this is blank, or if it's okay. So it's blank, yeah, so it wasn't loaded. Okay? The app is different than the than the snapshot. Remember, snapshot is.

15:00
All of the assets that are connected or that live basically inside high level inside the native high level

15:08
sub account, right? So it's like, think the snapshot is everything else. So the app, so you got the smart directory AI app right, which is in the left hand menu, and then you've got your automations, you've got your email templates, you've got your custom fields,

15:25
the funnel pages, that's all part of the snapshot.

15:29
Okay, so I did a whole bunch of custom fields yesterday. Hopefully they'll stay when I, when I, when I import the import, yeah, they won't, yeah, they won't be deleted. Okay, okay, good. So I have a couple more questions, but if you have somebody else to talk to, I can come back. No, go for it, yeah, what we got so? So one of the questions I have is, I have,

15:56
I have to go to a different Okay, so here's a contact list, just just out of, you know, and if I want to select a few contacts, like, for example, I want to find a particular city. Okay, so I'll go to the city

16:14
thing and select a particular city, and if I want to say there are, like, 55 of the contacts in that particular city, and I want to add

16:26
some new information into a selected field for those 55

16:32
is there a way to do that without clicking each one and entering Is there a way to do that, like through a workflow or something. Yeah, you can't do it here. Unfortunately. It'd be really nice if you could on the contact screen itself, but, yeah, you could create an automation that would do that. Okay, and give me, tell me a little bit about the automation. I mean, like I can set it up. It'll take me a long time, but if you you understand it a lot better than I do. So if you give me a few pointers, I'll just take some notes down, and then I'll do it later. Sure. Well, let's, let's do a real world example. So what is what are you trying to do? What field would you like to update? So you already told me you want to create a smart list with people in a specific city. Is what I heard, Right exactly. So I want, I don't, I don't know what cities are here, but I let's see, manage fields, and I'm going to take off. I'm going to, I want to add

17:36
contact City, this one, okay,

17:40
okay, then hit apply. Okay, so let's say I want to find all the Las Vegas ones, so I'll do a filter for Las Vegas. So you already have that. You've got that right there, yeah, last

17:56
I just, why is it not coming up? Last

18:01
Vegas?

18:03
Okay, so it's not

18:06
see the city is Las Vegas. I want to pick all these Las Vegas ones. Okay, so, and what do you want to do with those? I want to put an information of one of my people who are calling out, I want to put their name in the Caller field. So if I go here, there's a there's a field here somewhere called

18:34
caller. I forgot what it's called, but it's called call a name or something, caller assigned. Yeah, it's called caller, assigned. It's the name of the field. So I want to put all the Las Vegas ones into that person's

18:52
field, you know, say, say it's, it's Diane, for example, I want, I want to put Diane into that field. Okay, that's easy, so let's, let's walk you through it. Okay, so let's go to, let's go to automations. Yeah,

19:10
okay, I want to write this down so I don't forget. Okay, sure. Well, remember this call is recorded too, so you can always come back to this recording and you know you're only the second person, so it'd be real easy to find, but let's you can still write this down, but let me show you how to do it. So click on, Create Workflow. That's the That's your first step, and you're going to start from scratch. So in the top right hand corner, says, Create Workflow. Yeah, start from scratch.

19:37
Yeah, got it.

19:41
This will be so helpful, yeah, okay, enable auto, save, right? You could do that. That's fine. So what we're going to call this, this is going to be our

19:53
this is for was her name, Diane? Is that what her name was? Okay, yeah, so we'll call this, yeah, Diane.

20:00
10

20:01
call list. Is that? What it is? Is this? So you can, she knows who to call, right, right, right? Yeah, exactly. Right, perfect. Okay, so we're not going to have a trigger. I'm going to use a trigger for this. Nope, because we'll, what we'll do is we'll create different filtered lists, because Diane may call people in Las Vegas, but she also may call people in Phoenix, Arizona, right, right, right, right, yeah. So what we're going to do is we're not going to create a trigger just yet, but we will create an action. So go ahead and click that plus button underneath the trigger, yeah. And then what you're going to find is over on the right hand side, you'll see update contact field. You see update contact field the third one down, yep.

20:43
So now you'll go ahead and choose where it says Add Field under action type. Oh, okay, okay. And then from here, from this drop down, we're going to go ahead and find our custom field. So for you, it was called caller or something, I think is what you saw assigned. All are assigned. Okay, so that's what we want to find. It's somewhere here you can do a search in that box as well. Okay, yeah, thanks. Color, oh,

21:16
maybe color, okay, let me try assigned.

21:21
There is that it assignee? Yeah, a G assignee. Is that it is that the correct field? I'm going to use that for now. Okay, okay, okay, and then you would just type in

21:35
Diane's name, right here.

21:39
Okay, this is very simple way to do it, and then you can just hit, so this is going to add a tag. It's not going to it's no it's not adding a tag. If you

21:49
click that tag option, that will give you all the different merge fields. Oh, I see, I see, okay, okay, I thought it was a tag. It looks like a tag. Okay, all right.

22:00
Okay, so that's it. I'm done. Save action,

22:05
yeah,

22:07
and that's it. It's a one step. That's all, that's all it is. Okay, that's perfect. That'll help.

22:13
Sorry. Now you can add any list into this Diane call list workflow. Okay, you can add any amount of people into this workflow, and will automatically update that field

22:29
Diane's name. Okay, got it. That'll be perfect. Okay, thank you.

22:35
I can I ask you my third question real quick, of course, one more. One more quick thing. Yeah, if you want this to work, you're going to have to publish it in the top right. Yep, okay. Just want you to make sure you know that, so that when you because if you go to select people under the contact list, and this is in draft, you won't be able to see this automation. Okay? So we'll test it with a couple of what sample names or something, and then, and then make sure it's working, okay? And then we'll, we'll publish it.

23:07
Well, even to test it, you'll need to, if you're going to test it from the contact screen, like if you want to select somebody from Vegas, yeah, you'll need to publish it from here. Okay, okay, okay, we'll do that. Thanks. So the last thing is, you know, I'm using pabli to clean the email list before uploading it to go high level, in spite of which, I got a notification from go high level saying that 38% were undeliverable. So the emails haven't really been sent out. It's just an upload list. So I don't know exactly what that means, because we we thought we cleaned it, you know.

23:51
And secondly, if I'm not sending an email to that list,

23:57
how will it affect me? You know, this thing from go high level. Do you know?

24:04
So what? What did you do? Specifically? In pabli, we cleaned, we could just clean the email list to make sure that it's deliverable. You know, just clean the email list, yeah,

24:17
using inside Pavley,

24:21
the cleaning the email cleaning system, and it and it tells you which ones are clean, which ones are undeliverable. So we don't upload we at least we think we are not uploading the undeliverables, you know, okay, uploading deliverable emails. So when go high level, sends a note like, 38% is undeliverable, and we haven't sent a single email. It's just an uploaded list, you know? So,

24:48
so the it's a two part question,

24:52
if no emails have been sent,

24:55
how is, how does Gohan level know that it's undeliverable? I mean, I.

25:00
Sure. So I would say, if you could share, can you share what high level sent you? Just so I can get a little bit more context. Yeah, that'll help explain what, what they're saying in that email or that message. Yeah, here, so let me look at the scent here. No, this is the

25:20
wrong email.

25:23
We find this one real quick here

25:27
email,

25:30
let me see

25:34
deliverable.

25:48
Yeah, okay, I found it so. So here's the let me make sure I'm Can you see my screen? Or do I need? We can see your screen. We We can only see the workflow section high level. Okay, let me make sure that I'm sharing this part

26:08
screen,

26:16
yeah,

26:18
yeah. So here's the email.

26:22
Oh no, no, this is the wrong one. Oh, sorry.

26:26
Got so many of these things.

26:42
Yeah, yeah, contact, import, analysis. This is the one the email and it says,

27:01
okay, so it says the name of the the location, the location ID and email, okay, yeah. Then it says, activating native email verification can eliminate potential risks. And then it says, See, deliverable is 46%

27:20
high risk is 31%

27:24
so I'm

27:26
trying to figure out the consequence of this, because once they dinged me already, but at that time, we weren't cleaning, so I I accepted it, you know. So what I think is going on here is you've got high levels email verification turned on by default.

27:45
You upload that list, they're verifying. They're doing a second verification automatically and error analysis. That's what's coming. They're they're sending this automated email out to you. Okay, so you're right, nothing's been no emails have been delivered yet, right, right, so I'll have to turn that off because I'm already checking it. Okay. Thank you. Thanks very much. Yeah, that's what. That's what's happened there. Sheila. Okay, thanks, yep, no problem.

28:16
All right. Who we got? Darryl.

28:19
Good. Can you hear me? Yeah, I can hear you. Just fine. Okay, good. So I just signed up with smart directory about 10 days ago, and I was trying to

28:30
load the snapshot for snapshot for the AI agents and the account. I signed up for a single account, but when I log in, all I see is the sub account. I don't see a way to load the AI agent in, and there's nothing there. I don't know if you can help me with that or not, or just point me in the right direction. Sure. Yeah, let's if you could share your screen. We can take a look and sure can help.

28:58
Let me do that real quick. Can you see my screen? Okay, yep, we can see it just fine, perfect. All right, let me move you over here. So I'm logged in, and basically all I see is, this is the sub account. There's no agency view.

29:19
Okay, yeah, so you're under, you're under hours, correct? Yep, you are. I could see a P, P, dot, smart directory.ai, yeah, so I didn't see any way to load a snapshot, yeah. So what you'll need to do then is you'll have to get in touch with our support team and they'll load it in for you. Okay,

29:40
let me see if I can grab that link for you real quick. Where is it at?

29:46
Right here?

29:52
Contact, support,

29:56
yep, this is it right here? Okay, cool. So, here.

30:00
Is the link.

30:02
Just dropped it in in in chat for you. Okay, perfect. Okay, so, yeah, go ahead and fill that out. That'll create a support ticket, and one of the agents will jump right on that. Just tell them that,

30:17
if it's in here,

30:20
yeah, under the question, just tell them that your your sub account is inside of smart directory.ai.

30:28
So they don't need they automatically have access to your account. Okay, just let them know the name of your sub account, which is what? Gateway business something. Yeah. Gateway business, review, review. Okay, yeah. So just let them know the name, and they'll get it loaded in there for you. Okay, yeah. So, you know, obviously, I'm just getting started. I don't know what other things I'll I'll be running into, but I'm trying to follow the quick start. And there's, like, that's the best place to do, yeah, that's, that's what we direct everyone to. Okay, there's three phases in that quick start. I don't know what phase you're on yet. Yeah. So I started with the, you know, the customize the website, kind of walk through that. And then I hooked up my Stripe account, and I hooked up a domain, and, you know, I was kind of, kind of working around the AI agent thing and all that. But, and I ran into a problem where the Update button wasn't working when I tried to update the text on the website. They fixed that for me. So, but anyway, I'm just kind of walking through it, so, so that's the that's the best site to work through, though, is, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. If you just follow that quick start guide that should get you, I would say probably 95 to 98% of the way there, and then you'll probably still have a few questions, and that's what this calls for. Okay, perfect. So you can jump on here. We do these every Tuesday, noon Eastern, and this is exactly what we do. We help you guys just get through whatever questions you've got or issues that you're facing.

31:56
Okay, great, thanks. Yeah, no worries.

32:00
What's happening. Door?

32:02
Can you hear me? Yeah, I can hear you. I was going to tell she Ra, don't use Padley for email verification. Use high level.

32:12
High level is more accurate than Pavley ever was. So if you're going to pick a verifier, use high levels verifier, not Padlets,

32:23
okay,

32:26
okay, I just paid for Pablo. Okay, I understand that, but their email verifier has been says for years. Oh, okay, okay, thanks. Bye.

32:42
Thanks. Dorn.

32:45
And honestly, Sheila, I kind of second that,

32:50
in all honesty, though, I've never used paplis. I've been I've always used never bounce. Never bounce has been around for years. I've talked about it multiple times on these calls. I've always used never bounce. And then when high level came out with theirs, I started doing double verification. I would do I still use never bounce, and then I use high levels verification as well. I haven't had any issues. I haven't had any issues. I'm always well below

33:19
at least half a percent

33:22
on on delivery. Okay, thanks.

33:30
Right. Guys, any other questions? Questions, questions, we're early, early on in the call. So anybody that's got questions, yeah, Mike, go right ahead. Unmute and ask away.

33:43
All right, I think I and now, so Jason's got a question for you. I'm kind of doing more of a refresher.

33:52
Let's see. So can you hear me yet? Or no? Oh yeah, yeah, we can hear you. Just want to make sure. Question I have is I started off with the,

34:01
with the the

34:04
listing here, as far as you know, the directory listing. And got it pretty much, pretty much set up. I think I got it going pretty well. As far as, as far as the the initial setup, I had to take care of some other business, so I put it off to the side, which wasn't a bad thing. I got some other things that came along that were AI driven from this whole process. So it's, it's a good thing, but now I'm doubling back, and I'm trying to get the the what do you call

34:31
it, directory, back into a scenario where I can put it into workflow, get it moving forward, and I'm going to have to have to go through the whole refresher course. You know, as far as the startup, I'm sure, but the question I have that's, as this starts to start moving forward, what do you feel is, like the the AI, back end products that are more accepted by by real world, if you want to say consumers, I know it can be a.

35:00
Of everything. But do you know that there's certain things that have a little bit easier turn,

35:07
as far as either if it's a social media type of scenarios, or if people are looking for more, for for website, what do you feel is most accepted and it's an easier foot in the door?

35:19
It's good question. So, you know, I always all the advice that I give, anything, any direction that I give comes from real world experience, things that you know I'm experiencing myself. I don't try to talk in theory or anything. I just give you real world examples that I I'm dealing with.

35:37
I I'll be honest, I don't deal a whole lot in kind of foot in the door strategies, I but I'm well established. I've been in this business for 15 years, so I've got a pretty big network. And,

35:51
you know, I work with a lot of different types of clients and different businesses, as far as, like, AI, products and services. I can tell you one thing that has been popping up a lot lately, for me, has been using AI to clean up a database. So like, you know, you've got people that have been in business for years, you know, 10 plus years, they've got their database is scattered across maybe a couple old, antiquated CRM systems, maybe a spreadsheet or two, and it's just very fragmented, and so that's something that I've seen, I've seen a handful of times recently where they really need some help cleaning that up. And it wasn't like I went in trying to sell AI, but I most certainly used AI in order to help facilitate that cleanup and make sense of their data. Gotcha? So that's, that's something that I've done, what I'm what I'm curious about, as far as once, once I really started moving forward with the directory and starting to go, I don't want to be in a situation where I'm, I'm blasting out everything on a you know, one day I'm saying, hey, I can do this for you. It's like, say, hey, I can do this for you. Hey, I can do that for you on the third day, where it becomes almost an annoyance. So if there are pace that you would you would recommend, or is there a

37:10
philosophy as far as moving forward without kind of just making it so that you know, you become almost like a filter, where people are saying, Oh, what is who's this guy? What's going on here. I'm getting blessed with these things, you know, because I have a select list, but I don't have a huge list that I don't want to burn my bridge, you know, before, before moving forward, that's all I'm looking for this to kind of, to kind of filter through and to pre qualify, so that I'm not out pounding doors and knocking, knocking doors all the time. So it'd be nice to have something where somebody's coming to me and saying, Hey, I got this information I'd be interested in, you know, XYZ? Can you? Can you give me a quote? That's where I'm kind of looking with this.

37:50
I may be kind of knocking on the wrong door that way, but I look, I'm looking at it from a point of leverage, of, how can I get this, this tool to to leverage prospects for me, so that I'm dealing with people that are that are wanting a situation, and I'm not trying to pry it out of them, right? Yeah, no, I 100% agree with that, and that's the way that I sell. I've always been kind of a consultative I take the consultative approach, but along with that consultative approach,

38:24
I'm always giving value first so and part of that is either teaching something, educating somebody on something, but get but leading with that value. And I think if you approach it from that lens, from that angle you don't, you're not in that constant pitch mode. So, because that's the last place you want to be if you're in that constant pitch mode, if you're just pounding people with email, sell, sell, sell, sell, they're going to tune you out like people are bombarded with that messaging all day. Yeah, that's, my, exactly that. That's part of my, you know, in my rush to trying to get this to work and work in a in a way that, you know, is satisfying. You know, we all want business. We want things to flow in. And, you know, that's a great thing. But at the same time, that is in the back of my mind. And I'm not using it as like, some excuse. I'm just looking at it like, Okay, I'm going to get this platform, I'm going to blast this stuff out, but how do i What's, what's a workflow like in the morning? How do you, how do you approach your day in the morning with, let's say, smart directory. Is it something that you look at, your your email? Do you look at, you know, your past conversations or workflows? What is it that you do in the real world that's getting you the results that makes this something that is worthwhile in that in a way,

39:46
so certainly with like email type campaigns, whether those are you know,

39:51
my the types of campaigns that I run are more nurture based, so long term, educational value driven, content you.

40:00
Type emails. They're not pitch, pitch, pitch, sell, sell, sell, right?

40:06
Those now, it's a little bit different for me. Again. I've been in the business for a long time. The email list that I have is an email list that I've been building for years. And these people know who I am. It's not like they have no clue who, right? So it's a little bit different dynamic there, but I think the philosophy still applies. So I'm not constantly pitching in those emails. Again, those are more nurture based, education, value driven, type emails that are delivered over time. And to answer your question, what do I do? Like, how do I handle my day? Well, as those are going out, that's an whole that's completely automated, like, it's hands off, it's set it up and forget it. You know that thing, yeah, runs. And that's where I'm looking at, obviously, that's, that's kind of one of the advantages to this program. And one of the, I would say things that people are attracted to is that it's, you've got somebody that's or something, in a sense, of an AI workflow scenario that that's constantly trying to, you know, bring people into a funnel so that you can, you know, the pre qualified they're going to do, they're going to be working with, or, you know, request information from you that, you know, as a consultant, or what have you, that that they're going to look at as value, and they're going to make A decision on there. So that's, that's kind of where I'm turning in, and it's in there again, you know, I'm not, I've came on to this call to hear some of the scenarios of how to get things moving, because I had to revisit this from from starting off, from the start, but I want to take it to that next level and really, get it really working. Well, that's, that's really right. If this is like, yeah, if you're, if you're treating smart directory as an actual business, then I would do just that. So

41:52
especially, like we teach the best place to start a directory is in your low is in your backyard. Like, hands down. There's nothing better than starting a directory, a local directory. Why? Because you have direct access to those business owners. There's so many different things, from, you know, Chamber of Commerce to, you know, local BNI

42:13
to a combination of those, like getting your getting the word out there, running local Facebook ads that are geared towards business owners within, you know, two or three different zip codes, something like that. To me, that makes the most sense. Yeah, that's kind of where the focus is, for me, is in a local, you know, footprint,

42:34
and then my background is in design and signage. So it's not like, it's like something I wouldn't be able to, like, showcase something that I've done in the area, so that that's really not the issue. My scenario, and here is just like, am I setting this up properly, you know, so that it's, it can be done, you know, set up and and I can bring in business and connect those businesses to those, you know, those reoccurring type of income streams that that's what I'm that's what my main goal is, is to try and goes into a reoccurring scenario. Because I'm my whole most of my business is one off, you know, in the sign and graphics and things of that sort, people need you for particular task, and then you're done. It's a one and done scenario in most cases. So I'm trying to change, or if you want to say, Bring on, you know, a scenario where there's, there's a, there's a back end, reoccurring income, so that, you know that that builds, and it also to helps it with a security scenario too, as far as business security. So

43:37
that's that, that's just the development. And I saw this, this, you know, directory as a means to do that, either through Chamber of Commerce, like you mentioned, you know, and adapt so those things. So I'm just about ready to hit the, hit the pavement and and get out there and start making some appointments for the chambers and things of that sort. But I've got to flush the the site out with local business. I have the list up, but I have to be able to, I know there's a video there of how you change all of the,

44:06
I guess, contacts that you have in your list, so that they're live onto the site. And then you take the ones, because I have the ones from Nevada that I'm most likely going to take off, but I want to make sure the ones I have are active before I do that. That's all,

44:20
yeah. I mean, as far as, like, the technical aspect of the setup for the for smart directory, I'll drop a link in chat right now, and this is where we're directing everybody to. There, we've built out a Quick Start Program inside there. It's got three different phases. As long as you follow that from phase one to phase three, and step through that, that will get you all the way set up. And then once you get that done, you'll probably still have a few questions here or there, but that will get the technical stuff set up and make sure that everything's dialed in ready to go. Okay? And that way you'll have your workflows ready to go. You'll have everything dialed in there.

45:00
There and then, yeah, from like, business, you know,

45:05
business development standpoint, you know, I'm happy to take more of those questions, you know, on these Tuesday calls, I think those are great questions. I don't think we get enough of those. I think we do a lot of technical stuff, but there's a lot to this business after the technical stuff is all done, like, if you really want to make money with this there, you know, there's, there's a whole nother side to this, you know, oh, yeah, technical is one, one aspect, but yeah, just,

45:32
that's your starting point. You know, that's, that's, that's not even game on yet. So that's, I'm just approaching that right now, and I'm thinking, okay, there's a lot to offer with this, and in combining with what I have, it's a very overwhelming. But the difference is, is that, like you said, there's, there's a there's a depth to this that you know, you can kind of get lost. There's no doubt in the whole, in the whole stream of things, but at the same time, I think just digesting those that come in and then trying to fulfill, you know, those obligations through, you know, some of the products and services that are offered here. I think it's a it's a great one two punch for me, at least, at least my situation. It is because, on a physical side, I can produce but also too, from a from a digital side, now I have the capability of hitting that. So I just want to make sure I'm doing right. That's all. I mean, it sounds like you are. Mike, yeah, I'd say, Yeah, it sounds you sound like you're on the right track. So

46:31
again, from a technical standpoint, I'd follow that link. Go there to the Quick Start Program. Make sure you walk through that. That'll get you get your site all dialed in and set up correctly,

46:43
and then, yeah, I'd start looking at, you know, ways to connect within your community again, lead with value,

46:49
educate, instead of, you know, that, instead of just being a pitch fest, you know, trying to get somebody into something, actually try and actually provide some value. Another thing that I haven't talked about in a long time, but it just sounds like this could be good for you, Mike, is

47:09
create a, and I would do this right now. Create a local,

47:13
community based, city based, Facebook group, if you haven't already, no, I have done, I've done tons of these over the years, and you'd be so surprised how quickly, after you just create one, maybe invite a couple of your friends, just get a couple of people in there, but you'd be surprised how fast those things organically build. There are so many business owners out there that want to be that want to network through these different city groups, and if you're an if you own one, and you're an administrator to one,

47:49
I mean, that gives you license to do whatever you want with that group for the most part, right under Facebook's guidelines. But like you can if you've got that group, then you can control what gets posted, what doesn't get posted.

48:06
You can control the messaging. You can gear like you can see all of the different questions that are coming up. You can answer those questions. You can, you know what I mean, like you, you have a little bit more control, plus it gives you a little authority to you're the admin of this citywide Facebook group. If you grow that thing to 10,000 15,000 people, now you've got some cred. You've got some street cred within your area. You know, that's a great idea. I hadn't really thought of that. That's, that's and as far as for it means could be just as simple as, you know, local, you know, business owners network, something on that kind of level. Of level. Just can't keep it fairly general. Is that what you did before? Yep. Okay, exactly, exactly what I did? Yep. You know, great advice. I appreciate it. I'll probably take that on. I think that's a that's a good one, because it reminds me of the scenario through,

48:58
just as a side note, I'll leave on this, Jay Leno had created a,

49:04
basically an awards ceremony for comics, and you know, he ended up, you know, getting all these awards for, you know, as being a, you know, comic of the year, and blah, blah, blah, just to find out he was the actual guy that created it. And it was his own way of promoting himself, bringing another comics, but at the same time becoming just this focal point of, you know, attention. And it served him well. He was, you know, got the positions he was in as far as the Tonight Show, what have you. So it reminds me, in a sense, of that same tactic, if you want to call it, that you could do the same thing with your Facebook group. You could hand out, you know, you could do the best of,

49:43
you know, 2026, businesses within your local area, and hand out awards. Like, seriously, that's a go drive around town with, you know, promoting kind of the the directory. Have your cell phone. Do.

50:00
A little selfie video announced, you know, at the actual business

50:06
that won the award, or whatever. And then that video gets posted to your Facebook group. It can go up on your SDI site. I mean, there's so many things you can do now. It's a great it's a it's a great advice. I appreciate Jason. Thanks for the plugin. I appreciate Yeah, Dorn. I know Dorne wanted to add something there. He had his hand up for a second. What's going on door on your Facebook group? Don't just focus on businesses. Focus on consumers, because

50:34
toll booth between the businesses on your directory and your consumer list, and don't just focus on Facebook, get on Instagram. Build your list everywhere, and then you could monetize that list to the businesses that are on your directory for another province.

50:57
Interesting, Yep,

51:01
yeah, I know there was a couple of guys that I ran into that were doing something similar to what Jordan was just saying, where they

51:10
they had built, that they had built a group, and then they had built an email list, and they were Using, they were basically taking the businesses they were monetizing the list. So they had created more of a kind of a consumer based list, and then they had created a network of businesses through their Facebook group. I

51:34
think they had two. They had like, I think they were running two Facebook groups, one that was more consumer based, and then one that was business focused. And then what they were doing is, then they were monetizing it by selling ad space on the email list that went out to the consumers.

51:52
So basically they would say, hey, we can feature you. We've got a list of, I don't know what it was, 20,000 30,000 people that were not business owners, that were, I mean, some of them probably were business owners, but the majority they were just consumers, you know, that were local residents in the area, and then businesses would pay to be on to be featured in that email that went out to that list of 20, 30,000

52:18
wow, that's cool.

52:20
That's smart, though. Yeah.

52:27
Cool. Mike, yeah, awesome. Man, that was good. I'm glad that we were able to have that little discussion. Hopefully some other people here on the call got got some little nuggets out of it. I thought that was good. Yeah, thanks, man, appreciate it. Yeah, of course. Satire,

52:40
how you doing? I love your new photo.

52:44
Thank you.

52:46
Finally, a create

52:50
a logo that I can feel happy with for a moment anyway, so

52:56
yeah, at the moment.

52:59
Okay, the what the

53:02
question that I had for last week when you was walking me through how to do the email, connect my email,

53:11
I got on a call with go high level yesterday, on evening, I was on the call in the zoom. I mean, well over, I think three hours.

53:25
It was I, when I got off the call. I think it was like 230 and still able to get any help, because they need to

53:37
connect me to a senior tech and but they didn't have a senior tech available that understood about how to connect the email and go high level. So okay,

53:53
because it's showing,

53:58
it's showing, and I had everything set up. I couldn't get in. I missed all of that.

54:06
Okay. Where am I

54:10
think?

54:17
Okay.

54:21
Can you see my screen? Yeah, we got

54:25
it all right, because you see it's showing here that the

54:31
mailbox is invalid. My email is invalid. Now what they the text records, which I need to have put in like right away, because I own this is talking about that. It that if I don't get connected by the 30th that my contract would be canceled. I don't understand that

54:56
when I don't renew until 2027 so I'm not understanding.

55:00
Planning that that

55:02
that at all. But anyway, the text message that they gave me, the text record that they gave me, and all the other DNS records,

55:12
the tech that was on the call with me last night, he didn't want to put anything in because he didn't want he didn't know whether he should be deleting the other text records that are in there. He didn't want to mess up what I already had, you know, so that's why he transferred me to a senior tech. But that's still, like I said, they didn't have one to have a person that was available that knew about email.

55:38
Okay,

55:41
let's take a look at your email setup. So let's click on settings in the bottom left.

55:47
Let's go under email services and check it out. Check it all out.

55:52
So yeah, so scroll down email services right under calendars

55:58
like you passed it. Yeah, right there, left hand side. There you go.

56:08
Okay,

56:18
okay, cool. Can you click on view configuration for me and

56:32
then click back to dedicated domain? I

56:36
hate that it does this. You got to backtrack see where it says dedicated. Yeah, right there, yep,

56:41
okay. And then click the three dots next to mg,

56:47
and then click Verify domain.

56:56
Okay, so this is where you need. This is where you come to see all you, I think we've seen this screen before. You've seen this screen, correct? Okay, I did this tonight, right? Yep, these are all your records, and you can see like if you're ever having trouble, this is one of the first places that I come to make sure that one, all the, all the records are verified, because if they're not verified, then that could be causing issues, right? So I can't you come in here and looks like you're green all the way across the board. I'm sorry. Go

57:29
ahead, yeah. So what that tells me is that this domain is set up correctly,

57:39
okay? But it's showing inside

57:43
that the email address is not valid. Is not a valid email address or the

57:52
that's what I'm getting,

57:55
right because I tried to send an email to it, and it didn't, it didn't go through. And what is that email address, satira at or ai marketing.com

58:10
everything now is pointing to, I guess, mail gun.

58:14
So where is that inbox? Do you have you created a dedicated inbox?

58:20
No, that's not okay.

58:23
Okay, so that that's your problem right there. That's the reason why it's saying it's invalid is because they're actually there is no actual inbox for satira at aura, ai marketing.com

58:38
so

58:40
I think we talked about this last week, maybe setting up a Google workspace. Is that what we talked about?

58:47
Not sure about the Google workspace. Okay,

58:53
again, I only, I only speak about things that I do personally, and that's, that's what I use. I've always, I've used Google workspace since I started this business. It always worked for me. There may be other there's, I know there's other options out there, there's probably cheaper other options out there, but for seven bucks a month, that just worked for me. And

59:14
that's what I've always done. I'm pretty well integrated into the Google system. As far as like Google, I use Google Drive, I use Google Docs, like Google Sheets,

59:27
for a lot of different things. So to me, it just made sense, and that's where I set up. My professional business email is through Google workspace.

59:39
I started to do that yesterday, but wasn't sure if I knew what I was doing, because I clicked into what is that?

59:48
Because I think I got the Google workspace when I

59:56
when I connected with Google Business Profile.

1:00:00
When I set up my Google business profile,

1:00:05
okay, so you may have already created it.

1:00:10
No, I didn't finish the process.

1:00:14
Okay,

1:00:16
do you know if you put a credit card on file? Did you finish billing? Or no, I don't think there's a charge for me at the moment.

1:00:26
Okay, I'm not sure.

1:00:31
Can you walk me through, creating it or setting it up? All you have to do is Go to workspace.google.com.

1:00:41
That's the domain,

1:00:45
workspace.google.com,

1:01:04
so you click on the Get Started option.

1:01:21
Yep, just select just you, and then go ahead and type in your business name there,

1:01:26
oh, and then

1:01:40
go ahead and click next, yep. And

1:01:48
then you want to change that where it says current email. Oh, that's current email. Never mind. Now you can leave that, okay, yeah, go ahead and leave your current email. That's fine.

1:02:01
It'll use that as a backup. So if you ever get locked out,

1:02:06
okay, oh, well, actually, I think I would rather use my Gmail

1:02:12
to do that. Well, you can go back, then you can click the back button

1:02:17
and change that. You

1:02:32
and

1:02:34
you already own the domain, so you're going to choose the setup. Yep, set up using your existing domain. You're and

1:02:43
then go ahead and type the domain.

1:02:51
Okay, so I'm typing in the email address, or no, you're just putting in the domain. So aura, AI

1:03:00
that do I need to do the HTTP or Yep? Okay, just the name Yep, and

1:03:14
then click Next.

1:03:18
Just want to make sure I'm spelled everything correctly. Yeah, that's a good thing.

1:03:24
Okay,

1:03:28
okay, I think this is what stopped at, okay,

1:03:32
so just hit next correct, okay,

1:03:39
so you'll set up a username.

1:03:42
So this will be satire, so yeah, it automatically added the at

1:03:49
or AI marketing. So this is where you're setting up your new email. Okay,

1:03:59
and I don't think we can see the password. If you start typing, just type a couple characters, yeah, I can, I can. I think that actually makes it so we can see it. Yeah, okay.

1:04:11
Just type a couple of words. Oh, yeah. So now we can see it. So, yeah, go ahead and click the eyeball off. So go ahead, Yep, there you go. And do it on the second one as well. So we want we can't see this.

1:04:23
There you go. Good, you

1:04:56
Dorn you said people are waiting to get in.

1:05:00
There are multiple people in the group that have said they can't get in the meeting people aren't being let in.

1:05:07
Yeah, I was one of them still waiting.

1:05:12
I was one of them. I couldn't, yeah, I couldn't get in for

1:05:18
I had been waiting for about 30 minutes.

1:05:21
Really

1:05:23
me and and two other people. We were texting back and forth, you know what? What was going on?

1:05:32
Okay, yeah, I'm looking at it right now, but I don't see any it just shows everyone that's in it shows

1:05:41
now shows Dawn because he raised his hand, but yeah, there. I don't see anything. I don't see anybody waiting. Let me do this again and remember what I wrote

1:05:52
a type.

1:06:01
Oh, rachika is here. Rachika, can you do you see where people are waiting to get in? I because I can't see it on my side.

1:06:11
No, it isn't all

1:06:14
okay, but there were some who were waiting okay. I admitted.

1:06:20
Got

1:06:27
it right that time, time,

1:06:31
I'm sorry. Write this down.

1:06:48
Okay, let's get this right now.

1:07:28
I get it right that time. Oh, okay, finally,

1:07:33
okay,

1:07:38
did we get it? Looks like we did

1:07:42
awesome.

1:07:59
Okay, so what I would do click on that compare plans. Think that's where you can change.

1:08:07
Okay, I don't see compare bottom. If you scroll down, see where it says, compare.

1:08:15
Little further down. There's a button

1:08:18
very center of the screen. Blue Button, little bit lower, little bit lower, lower, lower. Right there I can't see because I'm seeing stop sharing. That's what's in the way.

1:08:31
Oh, okay. Oh, okay, I can move it. There we go.

1:08:37
There you go. So what I would do?

1:08:41
I think the, I think the basic plan is fine for you right now. Oh yeah, yeah, I don't think you need the $26 plan. No, 840 is for me right now.

1:08:55
So I would just, I would hit the start of trial on that one. I

1:09:09
And is there anything? Oh, there we go. Okay, so why don't you go ahead, this is where you're going to add your payment. So I would stop the share right here, satiric,

1:09:21
and then go ahead and just complete that process. And then once that's done,

1:09:28
there will be a record that needs to be added to the to the domain for email to work correctly, okay? And we can, I can show you where to go to set that up, but go ahead and just get, get the payment taken care of first. Okay, I'll add contact information first, okay, add Name and address because it's not let me just,

1:09:58
oh, I think it.

1:10:01
Yeah, it'll give us a couple records that we'll we'll need to add.

1:10:09
Then, well, why you? While you do that, satiria, I'm going to move on to Dawn real quick. Circle back around as soon as you get payment taken care of. Okay? All right, sounds like a plan. Thank you. No problem. All

1:10:21
right, Don,

1:10:25
can you hear me? Don, are you there?

1:10:34
Okay, you hear me? Yep, I got you. Okay, so I'm trying to make the header logo and the footer logo

1:10:45
bigger.

1:10:47
They say the recommended is 300 by 150

1:10:52
but even if I use a vector,

1:10:57
the logos are coming out really tiny

1:11:01
in the footer and the header. Yeah, I know there's that that has been an issue.

1:11:10
Rachika, have you come up with a solution for this at all? By chance?

1:11:18
Jason, actually, I submitted a ticket with the Dems as well, and they said, like, this is

1:11:27
the this is the Set Logo size that we can offer for now, because otherwise it will just increase the

1:11:34
size for the men,

1:11:37
right, right?

1:11:39
So there's no way that we can adjust it further from where it's at currently.

1:11:45
No, yeah, that's correct, but I think as much as we have vote inside of candy boat, so that will definitely

1:11:54
help team to check in for this issue. Yeah, I agree with that.

1:12:00
Do you have? Do you have a link saved for the canny board by chance? Because I think that would be great if we could just drop that in chat.

1:12:09
So dawn, I know this is an issue. This has been something that's been talked about several times on this call. I know I voiced my opinion on it. Sounds like rachika has voiced some concerns about it recently.

1:12:21
Awesome. Thanks for Chica. So she just dropped a link. Doran says he has as well. So she just dropped a link into our candy board. I don't know if this is a direct link to that post doesn't look like it. Let me see if I can find

1:12:38
that search. So we're gonna say logo size,

1:12:44
logo font size, control the logo display on the home page. So I think this, here's a here's one right here. What I would do anybody on this call

1:12:59
that wants to see that get added to list, because we are actively adding new features to the board every week. So I would definitely go and upvote this right away,

1:13:12
because I do think this is something that everybody needs,

1:13:19
and a lot of people have talked about it. So Don are you still here? Yeah, I'm still here. I have one more question. The

1:13:27
logo below the hero image,

1:13:33
it comes even when I put in a transparent logo, the background comes out black. How can I get it to come out white?

1:13:45
We're using a PNG. Were you trying to use an SVG?

1:13:50
I think I use both, and they both came out black.

1:13:57
Let's see

1:14:00
I was using. Does it

1:14:06
make a difference?

1:14:08
Yeah, I would think that you would probably.

1:14:14
I mean, I'm just guessing, but I'm guessing that if it was an SVG, it might add that black background to it versus if it was a PNG.

1:14:23
You're talking about the auth logo, right? Yeah, yep. What does that off stand for author?

1:14:33
That's a great question. I'm not entirely sure what that abbreviation is for, if that was an author logo or what?

1:14:41
Yeah, it's interesting because

1:14:47
logo goes to the register page, so there is a logo on top of that form

1:14:56
that's not the logo that shows up on the home underneath.

1:15:01
No on home page, underneath the hero image that would be inside of the branding, and then content, and then if you're down, so you will see

1:15:12
on the right side a placeholder to upload that image.

1:15:17
So under branding

1:15:20
and content.

1:15:23
Content, Oh, I see homepage, main content, okay, yes. So where is that? So if you go under branding, Don Yeah,

1:15:34
and then the secondary tab structure, you've got general domain content and menu builder, yeah, so Chica was saying, Go under Content and then it's right there, under Home Page, main content.

1:15:47
Okay, so that could have been it.

1:15:51
Let me see if I can put a

1:15:54
I would try png

1:15:56
there. Yeah, a color logo,

1:16:02
hmm. Oh, can we make

1:16:10
it?

1:16:19
Update?

1:16:22
The to preview.

1:16:28
Okay, so that worked. Okay, perfect. All right. Well, thank you very much for your help. Of course. Yeah, no worries,

1:16:38
right? Mike,

1:16:40
another question,

1:16:43
Hey, Jason, yeah, I was throwing some stuff in the call message again. Had some just questions about invoicing. I currently use QuickBooks, and was just trying to see if I can integrate QuickBooks with with go high level. I originally set it up with PayPal, as far as the links for the for the tier plans.

1:17:02
And that's, I think it's fine. I just, I'm just looking at, like I'm trying to centralize everything into my QuickBooks, so that I'm looking at one area to, you know, invoice, Bill, Bill in, Bill out, all that kind of stuff. But

1:17:17
it's not the be all, end all. It's just, it's something I had in my notes, and I didn't mention it before, but I didn't know if high level integrated with QuickBooks, or if there was, you know, that was a little too tricky. I know they use stripe in the in the process, I don't have stripe, but it's not like I can't get it. It's just a matter of like, I'm currently using one system. Can I just adapt to that, or am I going to be? Is it more helpful to use something like a stripe? I have PayPal hooked up to it now, but I haven't really tested it, other than I think when you know testing the link that it was, that it was available, but I haven't run any money through it. So,

1:17:59
yeah,

1:18:00
so the QuickBooks integration, there is a QuickBooks integration with high level it. It is

1:18:07
more for reconciliation, I believe, I don't think the last time I checked it, it does not allow you to invoice through high level and have it create. So when you, when you create an invoice through high level and you send out an email, there's a button in the email to pay the invoice, right? Yeah,

1:18:30
with the QuickBooks integration, that button does not connect to QuickBooks, so the payments not actually being processed through QuickBooks. So it still has to be processed through something like Stripe, but then the QuickBooks integration can then push those transactions into stripe and reconcile them. Is basically how that integration works. Okay?

1:18:53
So if you want to invoice through QuickBooks, then you need to do that through QuickBooks, meaning the invoice needs to go out through QuickBooks,

1:19:05
okay, so if you're using QuickBooks payments, which is their, you know, native payment integration, right, correct, yep, then the invoice needs to be sent directly from their program.

1:19:20
So process that way, in this probably workflow, I would think that if I'm selling services, let's say, outside of just the directory itself, you know, upgrading to, you know, a more robust directory,

1:19:34
I would probably, probably end up using, let's say, you know, for, you know, the QuickBooks, if I'm building a website for somebody and just, you know, build them, or through hosting and have it just go through maybe the QuickBooks that I have,

1:19:47
and then maybe just use, like, a stripe, or just keep it to PayPal, you know, that I have it set up right now.

1:19:53
Like I said, I didn't know the difference between the PayPal and Stripe. If there was actually anything significant, you know, it'd be.

1:20:00
Between the two processors. I already had a PayPal account. That's why I connected it. I didn't have a straight but if somebody wanted to automatically, you know, let me upgrade to this. I want it to be where you know that that transaction takes place on their end, and then it's not something that I need to initiate later. You know, as far as the directory is concerned.

1:20:22
So,

1:20:24
yeah, I guess I'll just keep it where it's at, you know, and just do the two, yeah, PayPal works just fine. Stripe works just fine. I would say like, if you're looking to, you're

1:20:38
looking to offer, like, productized type services, meaning you have a website and you want to sell something on that website, and you want people to just go there and be able to make a purchase right go to the website, enter their credit card and buy something. PayPal or stripe works great for that really, really well if you want to do more custom type work, custom website, something that's like, maybe a larger project, that's one off, where you have to actually quote the project. That's where I would involve something like QuickBooks, where I would create a custom invoice, right for a custom amount, and then invoice them through QuickBooks. So gotcha, yeah, I was, I was just wondering if I can have just one spot. But it doesn't seem like QuickBooks is kind of geared for, like, what you're saying, for the directory. You know, as far as, yeah, it's not, it's for that, okay, that,

1:21:33
yeah, and I know I've gone down this rabbit hole myself trying to, I tried to put everything into QuickBooks, and I just couldn't get it to work properly, because I wanted more flexibility again, to be able to have productized services that I could sell ad hoc, but then also have the flexibility of doing one off invoices.

1:21:57
So honestly, I opted not to use quick like I use QuickBooks, but I don't use QuickBooks payments. So I process everything through high level which is connected to my Stripe account. So whether those are productized services or whether those are one off invoices for larger amounts, everything gets invoiced. I use the invoicing system inside high level and I process everything in there. And then my my accountant has access to my Stripe account, and that's also connected to my QuickBooks account, and she manually goes in and reconciles everything, makes sure everything's good with the books. Okay? So yeah,

1:22:44
that's how I'm handling it, right now. All right, thanks. Jason, yep, no worries.

1:22:50
All right, satiria, you ready to circle back?

1:22:59
Satiria, are you there? Did you step away? I'm here. Okay, hold on. Let me share.

1:23:07
Okay.

1:23:19
Okay, we're it.

1:23:26
Okay. Can you see that? Yeah, got it through the domain setup. So let's go ahead and click the Get Started button.

1:23:35
Okay. How is it going to verify that I own that?

1:23:40
So it looks like you purchase that through CloudFlare, because it's, it's requesting to sign in through Cloudflare. Is that correct? No, I purchased that through it was either I honest or Name Cheap?

1:23:53
Okay, well, that's we need to figure that out first. So why don't you open, keep this tab open, go to a new tab, and let's figure out, actually, I could look it up for you. I could tell you real quick. Let me go to

1:24:10
let's see here, it's aI connected to a website in go high level.

1:24:18
Maybe that's why it's picking up cloud fair, yeah. It's aura AI marketing, right,

1:24:26
right.

1:24:28
So,

1:24:34
so the name servers are showing up as Cloudflare.

1:24:40
Register information showing his Cloudflare.

1:24:45
So

1:24:47
are you sure you didn't purchase it on Cloudflare?

1:24:52
No, no, because

1:24:55
I don't even know how to get the cloudfare. I didn't even know about Cloudflare until.

1:25:00
It had had crashed.

1:25:03
Okay, so,

1:25:05
but I know the website is on go high level, and I'm using go high level website.

1:25:12
Okay, did you purchase the domain through go high level? No,

1:25:21
okay, well, that doesn't make any sense, because it says it's registered with CloudFlare, and if you don't have a Cloudflare account,

1:25:31
who that I

1:25:33
I know was because Ionis is the one that gave me the text

1:25:38
record or the DNS records that mean. Well, let's go to Ionis. Let's log into your Ionis account. First we have to, we have to locate the domain wherever it is. We don't, that's, sounds like that's the big question, right now. So we first have to locate that no matter what. Right. Okay, we

1:25:56
need to figure out where it is. So, yeah, try and log into Ionis. I

1:26:10
She always got to look this up.

1:26:40
Stop sharing for a Second. I

1:27:14
helps me, i

1:27:32
i

1:27:56
Okay, Let me

1:27:58
Dan,

1:28:00
okay.

1:28:19
Okay,

1:28:20
okay. Can you see

1:28:24
it's pulling up right now? Yes, we're in. Okay,

1:28:29
so it looks like where it says domains and SSL, Yep, let's go there.

1:28:38
And okay, aura, AI marketing, it says external, so that means

1:28:45
that it is,

1:28:48
I moved it over to go high level.

1:28:53
What the heck is this up here? I'm not in move.

1:28:58
Okay, there we go.

1:29:02
You moved it to go high level, yeah.

1:29:09
Okay, so then let's go into go high level then,

1:29:15
because that's the only reason why I would state that it's external, right, right? Yeah, because you moved I mean, that makes sense, because when I did a check on the domain, and it says that the

1:29:28
name servers are CloudFlare,

1:29:31
high level uses CloudFlare, so that makes sense. So let's go into high level. Okay,

1:29:41
left hand side, we need to go to domains. So if you scroll down, you should see domains and URL redirects, yep,

1:29:52
okay, so it is here, all right, so let's go ahead click on Manage.

1:30:03
Go to DNS records on the left hand side there.

1:30:08
Left hand side,

1:30:11
a little bit further over to the right, to the right. Oh, okay. I see it right there. Yep, there you go.

1:30:18
Okay, yep. So it is controlled here. Okay, perfect. So we need to leave this open. So now let's go back to Google workspace.

1:30:31
Okay, so what I would click on is switch to manual verification.

1:30:39
And

1:30:41
that's fine, yep, go ahead and hit continue.

1:30:47
And what we want to do now

1:30:50
is a

1:30:52
text record set to default. That's the content. Okay, cool. So we want it. So go ahead and copy where it says content.

1:31:02
See the little copy button there?

1:31:06
Okay, first, I'm trying to find content. Okay, name, okay, I see it all right,

1:31:11
yep, go ahead and copy that record. Okay. Now let's go back into high level

1:31:20
and and scroll to the top,

1:31:24
click on Add Record,

1:31:29
and the type will change that to text.

1:31:34
So txt, they gave me a record to put in.

1:31:41
Ionis gave me expected to put in.

1:31:45
Yeah, we don't want to use the Ionis one this is for because we're setting up your email,

1:31:50
yep. So we want to take it directly from Google. Google needs to verify the domain. That's what we're doing. So under the name, okay, period, go ahead and use the app symbol for the name I'm that applies it to the entire root domain. And then under the content, go ahead and paste that link that you copied.

1:32:14
And then under TTL, let's change that to maybe, if they have one minute, five minutes, yeah, go

1:32:21
ahead and change it to one minute perfect. And then hit save,

1:32:28
perfect. Okay, now let's go back to Google workspace.

1:32:38
Okay, okay, and then let's scroll down. Go

1:32:43
ahead and scroll down for me.

1:32:52
Okay, so come back here and confirm once you've updated the code on your domain house, yeah, so check that little box where it says, come back here to confirm,

1:33:01
and then hit Confirm.

1:33:04
And then what it's going to do. It's now it's checking to see if that record has propagated and is visible to Yep. Okay, so it looks like it is. So your domain is now verified. So now we're going to click on activate Gmail. Go

1:33:20
ahead and hit continue

1:33:25
and Yep. We just need one user. Just satiria Richardson, proceed with activation, yep,

1:33:36
then click on switch to manual verification again, and

1:33:42
then go ahead and hit the blue continue button.

1:33:47
Perfect. So we just need to add this one record. So now we're going to go back to high level

1:33:55
and we're going to hit Add Record.

1:34:00
And this time, the type is going to be MX.

1:34:05
All right. Now let's go back to Google workspace again,

1:34:13
and we could see that the priority is set to one. You see that in the center of your screen, and you see the mail server is smtp.google.com,

1:34:22
go ahead and copy that. Go ahead and copy where it says SMTP, yep, go ahead and copy that.

1:34:29
And now let's go back to high level,

1:34:33
and

1:34:35
under the name, we'll go ahead and use the at symbol again

1:34:42
and mail server is where you'll paste what you just copied

1:34:48
perfect, and then under priority, remember it said one, so we'll put a number one in that box, and then under TTL, we'll go ahead and change that again to one minute,

1:34:59
perfect.

1:35:00
Then we'll hit save,

1:35:04
excellent. Now, let's go back to domain setup, or

1:35:08
I'm sorry, yeah, Google workspace, don't I was reading the tab

1:35:13
on it, yeah? So yep, Google workspace, okay. Then again, click the box to confirm that you just did that. Perfect. So

1:35:34
sometimes they're able to pick it up right away. Sometimes it takes a minute, okay,

1:35:40
if the first record they were able to pick up right away was which was great, I'm hoping that they get this one so we can finish this for you.

1:36:01
This said, this can take a few minutes. Yeah, it can, yeah. So you got to wait and see. Once that record propagates, then Google will be able to see it. Once they're able to see it, they'll make the connection, and usually, within two to three minutes, your email will be working, so you'll be able to go to Gmail,

1:36:24
and you'll be able to send and receive email from satirah at aura, ai marketing.com, okay, now, how do I get that into

1:36:37
marketing?

1:36:41
What am I trying to trying to say here?

1:36:50
Will that show up in in my, in my, on my marketing website,

1:36:59
on your marketing website?

1:37:02
Okay, I'm saying it wrong. Let me get it together here.

1:37:08
You want to add the email to, like, say, the contact page or the footer of your website. Is that what you're trying to do? No, I want. I want to. I wanted to show up and go high level on the on my marketing on my or AI marketing side, agency side, which it was I thought at one point,

1:37:31
but I just couldn't. But the only thing with but it wasn't

1:37:35
like it showed that it wasn't a valid inbox. So when, after this is done, it'll show that it's a valid inbox. Okay, that's fantastic. Thank you. Yep, yep. I'm so glad you're able to decipher me, Jason,

1:37:53
I do my best.

1:37:55
You do very well at the time, I'm not even understanding myself. I

1:38:01
appreciate it. That's okay. That's what we're here for.

1:38:07
That's what we're here for. Is this someone else in line that?

1:38:12
Yeah, actually, Alex just raised his hand. So why don't we? Why don't you stop sharing? Let's just wait for this, and then we can circle back around and finish off with you. Satire, okay, hey, sounds good. All right. All right. Alex, go right ahead.

1:38:28
All right, awesome. How are you guys doing good? How you doing good? Good. I'm trying to share this screen. I don't know if it's necessary, really, so just a question regarding the interface when someone is on a profile or a listing,

1:38:47
is there a possibility that eventually we'll have a button that says, contact that person or contact that business?

1:38:59
I think that would be really effective. Yeah, that would be,

1:39:03
I think I want to say somebody had already posted that. Let me

1:39:09
like in the

1:39:11
on the canny board, Candy board. Yeah, I was just going to go check it right now. Okay, contact

1:39:21
business.

1:39:29
Like, if we could offer that to premium listers, that would be like a great added value. I think,

1:39:39
yeah, I could have sworn I saw this on here.

1:39:43
I'm looking for it right now to see if I can find it.

1:39:51
Business. I'm.

1:40:23
I'm not sure, Alex, I'm not seeing it right now, but

1:40:29
yeah, I agree with you. I would definitely get it added. Maybe do a couple different searches, see if you can find it. I could have sworn I saw it,

1:40:39
unless maybe the person that added it took it down. But I can't imagine that, right? I just don't know. I'm trying to think of the different keywords that they may have punched in,

1:40:50
right?

1:40:52
Like a listing, contact form,

1:40:56
is it like a long time ago or quite recently? Yeah, I feel like it was a little way, little while ago, but it was, I think it was before we because we're now actively pulling things from the canning board and adding them to the list because they're working on new feature requests. Yeah, every week, yeah, nowadays. So

1:41:20
what's your contact form? Let's try that.

1:41:30
Add new business form.

1:41:34
No, that's not it.

1:41:38
Yeah, I would just, I would definitely,

1:41:46
I'll definitely put it in there. Yeah, definitely put it in there, Alex, because I'm not seeing good, not seeing it right now.

1:41:54
I gotcha, hopefully I may be also posted in the community. So 100%

1:42:01
yes, I definitely encourage that. That way you can get some up votes right away. Yeah, and it can get onto the onto the development board. The

1:42:12
other thing that's a little nebulous for me, I'm going to stop sharing, because maybe you can show me on your screen.

1:42:20
Where is the automation when someone actually purchases, like, say, a membership, or, yeah, you know, gets a membership to credit cards. Where is the automation for that? The triggering of the, you know, automation Is it visible on the system,

1:42:41
like the trigger itself

1:42:44
for a credit card. I'm not sure I understand. Okay, so someone clicks on the pricing, and it clicks on, you know, the premium pricing,

1:42:57
and it pays for it pays like $12 a month. Okay, I tested it, and unless I'm mistaken,

1:43:07
you know, I saw the amount going through the credit card and on stripe and everything, but I didn't receive as the fake client. I didn't receive any email confirming that I just got a membership or a subscription, I should say. And was it, did you subscribe to premium? Yeah, you did. Okay, yeah,

1:43:33
the amount of money on stripe and everything, but then I didn't get any notification that I was, you know, confirm so you should have on, I would definitely double check stripe to make sure that you have automated email receipts turned on inside stripe so that anytime a purchase is made, at least they get a paid copy receipt

1:43:57
itself. Okay, yes, that's a stripe setting, yep. So that'll be under your business settings, I believe, inside stripe. So you can turn those email notifications on or off. So make sure those are all turned on. You can also set your branding. There's a branding section inside of stripe, so if you wanted to add your logo, your colors, all of that kind of, that kind of thing, you can do that there. And then

1:44:20
the listing upgraded to premium is the workflow that should have fired. So if that did not fire, then it may not be mapped correctly. So I don't know if you remember, but inside of the SDA I app,

1:44:36
it is under, let's see your it is under Settings, yeah, there's a tab. It's profile. There's so if you go to Settings, you'll see profile settings integrations and workflow mapping. So you'll want to go to workflow mapping and make sure that the correct workflow where is it at? How.

1:45:00
I'm looking for it right now for you. Lit,

1:45:02
there it is, listing upgraded to premium. Make sure that that is mapped to

1:45:09
show it to me. Yeah, give me one second here. Let me

1:45:16
move this around.

1:45:20
It,

1:45:23
because when I toggled the premium button, it does trigger emails

1:45:30
that I want to do it manually, but when someone seems like, when someone pays for it, it doesn't trigger anything.

1:45:39
So this is, did you go here? So this is the premium,

1:45:43
so make sure that that's mapped. It is okay. And then under your automations,

1:45:52
system workflows, System System upgraded to print, make sure that's published, right?

1:46:00
Is yours published? Yeah, yeah. Because when someone, when I do, toggle the button, it triggers it. Maybe I have just that trigger. It's not so there's no, like, apparent trigger when someone pays the credit card with the credit card, well, there's no, there's no trigger listed inside this workflow here, yeah, but the trigger is hard coded into smart directory. Ai, so like, again, that's why this is so important, this workflow mapping. This is the trigger right back here. So what you're telling the system is, when somebody upgrades to premium fire this workflow, right?

1:46:37
So this is, it's hard coded into our app.

1:46:41
Okay, so it should work. If it's not working and they're not being added to that workflow. So, and I would double check either at the contact level or inside the automation, you know, you can go into

1:46:58
this automation, and then you can go into execution logs, and you can see who was added. You could see if that person ever got added, and you could see, did it skip? Is that why they never received it like if it if it executed correctly, then that means it sent the email. And they did go through this process, but you'll be able to see every contact that's been added into this workflow inside the execution logs.

1:47:24
Okay, so just to clarify things, when someone you trigger, let's say you triggered, you know, inside your system manually, the the premium button itself is that the same automation, or is it a different type of, oh, okay, so are you saying,

1:47:46
are you talking about, yeah, in business when you trigger, yeah? So that works. It does really the sequence of emails,

1:47:58
but not when I when that someone pays with the credit card,

1:48:03
sounds good. That's That's weird. Both should they should both be active, right? Right? Rachika, have you seen that before? That sounds like a bug to me. That

1:48:15
doesn't sound right. Jason, I missed this. That information actually, what was it? So Alex was saying that he what's happening with him is when he goes to upgrade somebody to premium, if he clicks this button, right here, if he clicks this toggle switch, then the customer automatically goes into upgraded to premium automation, right and they get the they get the emails. Everything fires correctly. But if the customer actually pays to upgrade to premium, so they go and they pay through the through stripe, right with their actual credit card, they're not being added to that automation, even though everything's mapped correctly,

1:48:55
that I think we can check on our end once. Okay, but you haven't seen that to me, that sounds like a book, not yet. Okay, yeah, so Alex, I would submit a ticket on that, yeah. Okay, let's, let's get that into the system so rachika could take a look, and then if, if we need to, we can get that escalated right away to the devs, so they can take a look and figure out what's going on. Because that doesn't sound right. That should not happen. Gotcha. Okay, we'll do Thank you. Okay, yeah, awesome. Thank you. No problem,

1:49:35
right? Satire, are you ready? Yeah, it didn't go through. It looks like there's an MX. MX records conflict. Okay, let's take a look. All right, let me back to sharing.

1:49:55
Can you see?

1:49:59
Uh?

1:50:00
Not yet. Oh, kind of it's really small, though.

1:50:21
There we go. Okay, okay, verification could not be completed.

1:50:27
Might be a problem with DNS.

1:50:33
Okay, this, this could just be,

1:50:37
I don't think there's an issue with MX. Well, let's go double check it, though, that way people know where to go if they if they face similar issues. To me, what this looks like is it just hasn't propagated yet, so Google can't see it. But let's go ahead and go back into high level

1:50:54
and let's take a look.

1:50:56
Okay, so here is here all your DNS records. So let's scroll down to where we see MX records. So keep going.

1:51:07
Okay, so we've got, we've got an Ionis. We've

1:51:16
got ionis.com

1:51:21
set to 10.

1:51:23
My own is set to 10, mail gun and mail gun. So those shouldn't be interfering. Let's go to page two.

1:51:37
Okay, those are the only MX records. Yeah, those don't they? Those shouldn't be conflicting. Go back to one and just double check one more time.

1:51:48
Actually,

1:51:53
you know what?

1:51:55
Actually, I take that back those two. There's a possibility those two could conflict. Let's remove those two Ionis records. Yeah,

1:52:06
let's just go ahead and delete those,

1:52:09
because those are set at the root,

1:52:14
even though it's set to priority 10 and Google will take precedence over that because it's set to priority one. I We don't need them because you're not running email through Ionis, so you're going to be running email through Google, so there's no reason to even have those there. So those are the two, those are the three MX records that we need. So priority one is going to be your main inbox. So smtp.google.com,

1:52:39
with a one next to it, that's going to be your main inbox for satira at aura ai marketing.com Okay, that's where you'll send and receive email. The second one, which is mg, which is the sub domain, so mg is going to be mg dot aura ai marketing.com, and that's pointing to mail gun. And there's two of those records.

1:53:07
Those will be the mail or, I'm sorry, those are the mail records that you use to be able to send email through the high level system, right? That is so all of that set up correct. So now let's go back into Google workspace. Let's click that button one more time, retry, retry, yep, and again. If it doesn't work, it will work. It may take. Oh, there you go. It worked already, perfect. So Gmail is now ready. So it says it still may take up to 24, hours before

1:53:41
you so you may see some like you may see intermittent deliverability in that main inbox, okay,

1:53:51
but it is now all set up. Okay, great. Now

1:53:56
all this here. Do I need to do anything with that? What is that? No, I don't think you have any business data that you want to import.

1:54:06
I mean, if you have contacts you want to add, you can do that.

1:54:11
Talking to me. Well, yeah, is

1:54:14
it 11 o'clock already? Yeah, I guess it is.

1:54:18
Let me go ahead and mute,

1:54:22
yeah. There we go. Okay, sorry about this. It's here.

1:54:27
So what I would do now that this is set up, let's, let's scroll up to the top for me

1:54:35
and

1:54:37
Okay, so I don't see

1:54:40
deliverability at all existing email addresses to your workspace. Okay, so let's just go ahead and let's add a new tab

1:54:51
and then go to gmail.com I'm.

1:55:07
And no, this is not where we want to go. You, if you prefer, create a new Google account now we don't want to. Why is it not letting us just get to the login screen?

1:55:20
Where is our

1:55:23
Can you just go to workspace.google.com,

1:55:25
try that.

1:55:29
So in this tab, yep, just type in workspace.google.com. Perfect. Let's see if it allows us to sign in. You should be automatically signed in. It may just because I think you're using brave right?

1:55:43
Who

1:55:45
this is? A brave brow? Is this brave browser?

1:55:49
No, a vast,

1:55:52
a vast browser, okay, that may be why, but,

1:55:58
yeah, my phone, when it crashed, I don't even want to try and touch it anymore.

1:56:06
Yeah, so let's see here. How do we get to, oh, try to go to mail.google.com,

1:56:15
try that instead mail.google.com,

1:56:21
and then just delete everything after.com

1:56:24
Yeah, delete all that. There you go.

1:56:29
Hmm, why does it keep reporting back to this?

1:56:38
Click on create a new Google account.

1:56:43
New Google account, yep.

1:56:49
Okay,

1:56:51
no, that's not where we want, dang. And there's no other option here, either.

1:57:01
Up at the top where it says accounts.google.com,

1:57:04
can you just delete everything after.com there?

1:57:12
So delete, yeah, delete all that, right there. Yep,

1:57:20
there's more,

1:57:22
I guess so, yeah,

1:57:26
okay,

1:57:29
okay, and then hit enter. It's probably going to redirect us, but we could try it anyway.

1:57:37
Okay, so go in the top, right

1:57:41
under your photo. Yep, go ahead and click that.

1:57:45
And then let's go ahead and add another account. Oh, there it is. Yep, go ahead and click on that.

1:57:55
All right, perfect. Okay, now if you click on the nine dots

1:58:00
next to your profile image and then click on Gmail.

1:58:13
Okay, perfect. Okay, so this is your brand new inbox for satira

1:58:21
at aura AI marketing,

1:58:25
oh,

1:58:27
yeah, I'm not sure what is that little symbol over your profile image? What does that say? That little looks like a warning

1:58:38
access to Gmail at a recovery phone. Okay, they wanted you to add a recovery.

1:58:45
Oh, what telephone ad, because I'll do that. Yeah,

1:58:52
yep, you can do that. I like using then I do the

1:58:57
email. Okay, now, this is your this is your password that you set up when we when we created the new Google workspace earlier. Okay, let me go ahead and do that. I

1:59:35
welcome to your new account, perfect.

1:59:38
Sign your life away. I understand

1:59:45
you making this scary. Jason,

1:59:50
who knows what they hide in those terms of services? I don't even know.

1:59:57
They know everything about your business. They do.

2:00:00
So your docs, everything, yeah, okay, and this my recovery. Okay, cool, all right.

2:00:10
Oh, an email needs verification. Go ahead and click on that pencil icon. I don't know what the maybe, maybe it'll trigger an email, yeah, send code. Yep,

2:00:21
it'll send a code to that email, and then you can add that just so you've got both of those things verified that way,

2:00:30
if you need, if you ever get locked out, you need to reset the password or whatever, all right, that's why I like the you got a couple different ways to get in

2:00:46
perfect you're all set.

2:00:49
So

2:00:50
it's a question regarding this. Satira, what is the what is the benefit of doing this for you? Is it because you're, you're looking to handle all of your emails through Google account.

2:01:02
Yeah,

2:01:04
it and I wanted to be able to

2:01:08
see the emails even outside of go high level.

2:01:14
Yeah, I know that there's another reason too, but it's not coming to me at the moment, I apologize.

2:01:22
I had a couple of reasons why I needed to do this or wanted to do this. Yeah, I didn't want, and I didn't want it to I want to be able to add this or be able to see it inside, to go high level in my conversations, right? Yeah, yeah. So my dress so high level. High level lets you connect

2:01:43
a you can connect a Google account or an Outlook account,

2:01:47
so that and with Google, that could be a free gmail account that you connect, or really Google or a Google workspace account. But for business purposes, you know it makes sense to have a professional email. And you know, for professional email, Google calls that Google workspace. That's their that's their paid email program for businesses, right? And when now, she's got a dedicated inbox. So people could send her dedicated they could send her emails to that inbox. She can send email from it. She can receive email. She also has the that same domain connected under email services inside high level under a sub domain, which allows her to send bulk email through mail gun, through the same domain.

2:02:40
Now what she can do is, under her profile, inside high level, she can now sync this inbox directly to high level, so that any contacts that

2:02:54
that are saved inside of high level, if she receives an email in her main inbox will automatically flow into the conversations section of high level.

2:03:06
That makes sense from the Google inbox, correct? Yes. And the other, the other benefit of connecting or syncing, I should say, your Google inbox, is that when you go to send one off email from high level. It's actually being sent from your Google from your inbox, from your from that that email address, that Google workspace, email that way, it will show up because of that. I should say it will show up in conversations in high level, but it will also show in your set inbox inside of Gmail. Gotcha.

2:03:47
But what is the threshold? If you do mass mailing, for example, through lead connector,

2:03:56
Google won't handle that at all. Right? It has to be just correct. That's why we set up. So there's two setups here. There's her dedicated inbox, which we just helped her do right now. And last week, we helped her set up her regular email through mail gun

2:04:12
right and mail guns where you're going to do bulk sending.

2:04:17
Okay, gotcha. And do you know if the free Google account, which I have. I have both the business one, but kind of with an older type of business name that I'm kind of maybe going to delete. But

2:04:31
I guess what I'm saying is I'm tempted Now to do this too, but with my free Google account, I know there are a lot of limitations when it's a free account,

2:04:43
no, because it's you're not doing again. The the the

2:04:47
sync

2:04:49
is for sending one off email, one off, it's also for again, syncing email. So like, if you think about like you're.

2:05:00
Caught. So if your clients are emailing you, so like for me, let me just explain how I use it. Okay? So my clients email me at my main inbox, which is a Google workspace inbox. I have that synced to high level. I also have contact records for all of my clients in high level because of that two way sync.

2:05:25
When an email comes in to my Google inbox, it automatically appears inside my high level account and syncs it to the contact record inside high level.

2:05:36
That is because a contact record exists for that client inside high level, and if it doesn't exist, what happens? It does not bring it in. So the beauty of that is that, like everyone I receive spam, I get, you know, I'm on different newsletters and different things like that. Those newsletters and those spam emails, they don't have contact records inside high level, so they don't automatically sync. So what's the beauty of that is, when I log into high level, I only see client communication, and that's it. If I log into Google, I see client communication. I see, you know, spam email. I see a bunch of newsletters. I see all that junk, right, right? But now the way that my setup, the way that we just did this for satire, is exactly how I have mine set up. So when I log into high level, I only see client communication.

2:06:24
So and if you send out an email from your high level inbox, what email is it going to show? Going to show the one you synced up with the Google account, right? So, satiric, can you go, can you just click on the High Level tab for me real quick. Let me just show Alex this. This will be good for you, too. On the left hand side, secure. Scroll all the way up, click on my profile, see

2:06:53
where it says my profile.

2:06:55
Okay, so right now,

2:06:59
it's slow. I'm

2:07:03
so let's see where you're

2:07:06
refreshing it so it shows email right shows the

2:07:12
field with

2:07:14
the

2:07:20
you

2:07:25
just because

2:07:28
it's

2:07:32
shy.

2:07:42
Okay, what's going on here?

2:07:46
So click, click back to my profile

2:07:54
in the top right corner where it says Sr. Click on that for me. So saturate at aura, AI marketing, okay, yeah, that's what you're logged in as. Okay, so here's the here's the deal, Alex, as long as you are logged in to the profile that is connected. So here's the email. Two way sync, as long as you are logged in as that user,

2:08:16
and whatever inbox you sync right here. Then when you go to send an email, it will go, that email will come from whatever synced inbox is connected to your profile. I go, Okay, gotcha, yeah, but if you're logged in as a different user and you go to send an email, it's good and there is no inbox synced, then it will use the system inbox, which is set up through Mailgun, okay, yep, makes sense. And how come that one is not synced up, because we just did this for her, so she needs to that the last part satire, you need to click that Gmail

2:08:54
and then hit Connect, okay, and then it's going to ask you to sign in to your new inbox that we just created. Yeah,

2:09:04
I'm going to try to do that because I prefer the Google interface the way I'm used to it, rather than the one on high level. So

2:09:17
cool. Yeah, and that should work for you there. Alex,

2:09:21
okay, do I need to click any of this? I mean, look into any of this. I can't. We can't see it satire. All I can see is your high level screen. But I can't see any pop ups that appeared after you click Gmail. Okay, says, Select what lead connector for Gmail. Can access view, yes, all of it, so make sure all of it's turned on, okay.

2:09:47
Email on your behalf,

2:09:49
yeah, every check. Just make sure everything's checked, okay? And then continue. And then hit Continue. Yep, you.

2:10:00
There it is, okay, so now you are fully synced. Okay. Do I need to do anything with this here? Nope. What's nice about this? I can tell you what this is, though real quick. This auto BCC. So if you wanted to have an email, like if you received an email at satira, at aura ai marketing.com somebody emailed you and that that was a prospect and you wanted them inside of high level. What you can do is you can copy that under auto BCC sync.

2:10:35
You can add that to the BCC line of the email inside Google when you respond to them and it will auto import the email thread into high level

2:10:48
whatever was sent to BCC, which is really it should bring the whole thread in. Okay. Okay, all right. Now, one more thing, okay,

2:11:01
how do I?

2:11:04
I wanted to make this as the default,

2:11:09
not this. This is already the default realism.

2:11:15
Many tags I can close this now, right? Yeah, you can close that one. That's fine.

2:11:29
Okay, see, we're showing that

2:11:32
SW I CLC is the default. How do I make

2:11:36
our AI marketing now the default?

2:11:42
Oh,

2:11:44
I think,

2:11:47
I think it's only because you signed into that account originally. So you would probably have to click Sign Out of all accounts and then sign into aura, AI marketing comm first, and then add SW, are consultants.com as a secondary sign in, and then it would switch it. Yeah, okay. I think that's the only reason. I don't know of a setting inside of Google to just manually change that. I think that's just a sign in order you originally signed. That's the first account that you've signed into,

2:12:22
okay, becomes your default. Yeah, okay, that's fine. Well, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Of course,

2:12:32
just a quick question, Jason, about the

2:12:35
BCCC automation,

2:12:38
if the, let's say the prospect is not in the high level contact list. What happens to that?

2:12:46
That's why, that's what's so nice about that. BCC is that it, when you add that to the email thread, it it auto imports, and it automatically creates a contact record. Oh, wow, yep. Oh, nice. Okay,

2:13:02
just the name and, yeah, email address, at least something, okay, yeah, it should pull it all in.

2:13:09
Okay, that's great. Yeah,

2:13:14
I don't know. I've had a lot of issues with last week with my client trying to

2:13:20
work out the DNS records with her own domain provider, which is a, it's not good daddy. It's like hover, I think. And she spent quite a lot of time, you know, working out, trying to work it out with them. And I thought the DNS finally were no propagated and so on. And looked yesterday and nothing was really propagated. Nothing worked out. So I don't know. Have you heard of this issue before with domain providers having, like, blocking the DNS records for high level

2:14:01
you know, they had all the right

2:14:05
values to put in the, you know, boxes and everything, and it just didn't work out. For some reason,

2:14:14
I don't think I've heard of that, honestly, okay,

2:14:19
oh gosh, yeah, I'm just, I'm afraid the client's gonna get really irritated then give up. So, yeah, I mean, I would. So did you build a website on on that level? Oh, yeah, yeah. This is actually

2:14:36
all coming together. Because the, I mean, we were just starting to sing things, you know, it's like

2:14:46
that was for the

2:14:48
funnels and sites sub domain, okay?

2:14:54
And then we wanted to do for the for the email, but we didn't get to.

2:15:00
You have access to her domain or his domain? No, no, okay,

2:15:06
yeah, I would just get on with them and just do a screen share if you can, and have them log in and just make sure that there are no conflicting records. Because if there are, there happens to be they may have added the record correctly, but there may be a conflicting record that's causing the error, either a 404, or something that doesn't allow it to fully propagate and allow you to use it inside high level. Okay, that's possible. Yeah, yeah. So if you can just get eyes on it, then you'll be able to spot it, probably pretty quickly. You know, always look for duplicate a, records duplicate C, name, records things like that. Those are the most common issues. Okay, and can I get someone from a zoom, a zoom connection with someone from high level and then have like, a group chat, like the three of us together. Look and maybe, yeah, you can do that. Yep, I've done that before. Okay, yep, they'll do that with you. Okay, I'll try to

2:16:10
Yep.

2:16:12
All right.

2:16:14
One thing here, that text, right? Can you still see my screen? I can Yep,

2:16:22
okay, this is the text record I'm talking about that. Okay, they sent, I showed you where they sent it to me in the email

2:16:32
that

2:16:38
this here. This is the text record they still showing. So they saying inside, let me read this. Let me read this real quick. Let me read that. Let me just read that email real quick. You

2:16:51
want to use your domain and your owners. There's

2:16:54
only one server left

2:16:58
for the domain ownership. I submitted the following.

2:17:05
Okay, yeah, no, you don't need to do this.

2:17:08
So what this is?

2:17:11
So because this is what it's this is Iona website, and this is what it's showing here, complete the setup, verify domain by providing the text record. So I don't know what they mean by they going to

2:17:22
Okay, so the domain,

2:17:25
the domain lives. You move, you move the domain over to high level, right?

2:17:33
Did you purchase the it's, I think you purchased the domain inside Ionis, right? Okay, so what's happening is you purchase the domain in Ionis, you then moved the name servers, meaning that you move the name servers to high level, meaning that all of the access to all of your records, your DNS records, that is now inside of high level, and now you're coming back to Ionis, and you're saying, I want to move it back to Ionis. And that's why it's trying to get you to confirm here in Ionis. So you're, you're, you keep bouncing back and forth. There's no reason to do I wanted to you know that I was transferring that I wanted you know so I don't understand.

2:18:21
So you don't need Ionis, like you've purchased a domain through Ionis right now, but you're we've currently set everything up in high level, and high level is now managing the records. There's no reason to move it back into Ionis to manage the records. Here. Everything's being managed inside high level. Just fine. Everything's set up so there's no reason to move the domain back into Ionis unless you really want to. It's just more work for yourself. That's all. No, no. I mean, the whole thing was for me to transfer everything over to high level. I just want to make sure that I'm not losing anything based on that email, they stating, if I hadn't done this by the 30th that

2:19:06
my what is it? They read the contract. If the entry is not made, we will need to delete the domain

2:19:16
on your contract, or ai marketing.com domain from your contracts. That's what I'm just trying to make sure that. I don't know why would they say they're deleting it from my contract because I moved it.

2:19:31
I'm not sure I but we can, let's just go ahead and add the record so that they can't complain that we didn't add it. Okay, I don't so go back to that email.

2:19:43
And just copy that text, record, yep, that value, copy that to your clipboard.

2:19:49
Let's go back into high level.

2:19:53
Then on the left hand side, go to domains, URLs and redirects.

2:20:01
And then on the left, or, I'm sorry, you'll click on that, yeah, manage, and then on the left, you'll click on DNS, after manage,

2:20:09
yep, then you'll click Add, record,

2:20:13
then you'll click Type is txt,

2:20:18
and then name is going to be at the at symbol, and

2:20:24
then the content is going to be what you just copied,

2:20:30
perfect. And then under auto, go ahead and switch that to one minute,

2:20:35
and then hit Save

2:20:40
Perfect. Let's go ahead. Scroll down for me. Let me just double check your all your text records.

2:20:47
So yeah, zone ownership verification, we've got a Google site verification. Go to page two. Let's see.

2:20:59
Okay, okay, cool. Yep, you're good. I just want to make sure that you didn't accidentally add it twice. So yeah, there is no duplicate, so we should be good. Okay, thank you

2:21:09
all right. So that records now added. Okay, I feel that now,

2:21:17
so you can click on that check status.

2:21:21
Should be able to see it.

2:21:28
This domain may take. It may take a little while. Yeah, okay, all right, as long as they know it's, it's in there, yep, okay, all right, I'm good. Thank you, Jason,

2:21:40
no problem

2:21:42
if I had money.

2:21:45
What's that? I said, If I had money, I'd pay you.

2:21:49
No need to pay me. No need to pay me at all. Yeah. Alex, yeah. I mean, if you could quickly walk me through connecting my Gmail account with

2:22:03
high level that would be great, sure, yeah, I'm going to share The process

2:22:10
to your share.

2:22:21
Okay, where are you now? Here, all right. So here, this is

2:22:30
I'm going to settings, I guess. Yep. Are you in the you're in the sub account? Yep, you want to Okay, now, yeah, let's go to settings. Are you logged in and with the correct user? Yes, okay, perfect. So on the left

2:22:44
doesn't look like, okay, so this, what is this? Ai filmmakers, yes, looks like you haven't been added here. So what you're going to do is go back to the agency level. Oh,

2:22:56
okay,

2:22:58
go switch to agency view. Then you'll click on settings in the bottom left.

2:23:06
Then you'll click on team,

2:23:11
and then you'll find your user one you want to use. Okay, so go ahead and click on the pencil icon for that user.

2:23:21
And then you'll click on Roles and Permissions,

2:23:27
perfect. And then under sub accounts. So you can see where it says add sub accounts in the center of the screen. You've got ops, check, you've got pixel you've got cartouche, I think creations LLC. Do you see that in the center of the screen? Got right there. So that's where you'll add the AI filmmaker. Well, yeah, okay, yep, there it is. So just go ahead and click there now and just hit save.

2:23:54
Perfect now up in the top left, we're click here to switch. Let's go into that sub account, the filmmaker sub account.

2:24:03
Now click on settings again in the bottom left,

2:24:10
and now you have the My Profile tab that shows up. So when your user is not assigned to a sub account that my profile tab will not show. Where is that? So on the left hand side, under business profile, yeah, the second one down, it says my profile, Okay, gotcha. Dark blue menu, yeah.

2:24:31
So click on my profile.

2:24:36
Dark blue menu. Dark blue menu, far left, under business Yep, under business profile, right there. Yep, there you go.

2:24:47
Now you can scroll down see where the email is. The two way sync, yep, there it is. Okay. So now you'll go ahead and click on Gmail and then just walk through those steps to connect. I can't see it, but there should be.

2:25:00
Pop up. Oh, actually did it did show this time. Okay, so, yeah, you'll create or connect the correct Google account. Here,

2:25:09
there

2:25:13
you go. Beautiful.

2:25:16
That's it, awesome.

2:25:18
And again, the BC, here it is, it's it's activated, right, correct, yep, Okay, wonderful. I really appreciate that. That's wonderful. Thank you. Awesome.

2:25:31
Okay, alrighty.

2:25:35
Anything else, Alex, piece of cake. Yeah,

2:25:39
pretty smooth. Well, you were the Pioneer.

2:25:44
Well, thank you guys leading the way. Okay, yeah. So I hope I can resolve all these DNS records type of problems with the

2:25:53
domain provider. I hope, I hope she can, the client can make me an admin owner on her hover account so that she doesn't have to be present. But I don't know if it's possible. Yeah, that'd be great. Yeah, if she could,

2:26:08
you know, if she could make you, give you delegate access or something to the account so you can go in there and actually make changes on her behalf. That'd be that'd be fantastic. But, yeah, usually it's most things. When it comes to DNS records, it's either it was,

2:26:29
maybe there's an extra space or an extra character got added by accident. There's duplicate records. It's usually user error, very, very, very seldom is it actually like a technical error

2:26:44
that requires a ticket where somebody has to go in and actually, you know, escalate it and fix something. It's it's most likely user error either something with the record, a misspelling, a space, a period accidentally got added, or there's duplicate a records, duplicate C name records. That's what I see all the time, and that's what and any one of those things will cause an issue, will cause it to where the domain cannot connect properly.

2:27:11
All right? Well, while you're here, before you go,

2:27:18
so you can see here, I'm

2:27:23
trying to remember, is this connected, connected products, email, funnel, uh huh.

2:27:31
Does that mean it's working out or correct? Yep. So it looks like you've got the the root domain connected to a funnel, and then you've got that sub domain, which is, like, it's hard for me to see, okay, or AI. FD, yep, that's for another account. But,

2:27:51
yeah, I was just mixing up my my sub account. Sorry. So, yeah, so the the the sub account in question is upscale, and,

2:28:02
yeah. So here for upskill, I have email connected,

2:28:08
so it looks like it's still needing some some love here because

2:28:15
mail upskill

2:28:18
HR team, it says action required verification. Go ahead and click on that. Yeah, let's click on verification. Let's check it out.

2:28:31
Okay, so these are not verified, yeah, go ahead and click click the Verify domain. Just, I don't know if you added these records yet or not. Okay,

2:28:40
so they may not have been added, yeah, that's what it looks like to me. So each one of these records needs to be added, yeah. And then once those are added, then you should be able to come back here click Verify domain, and these should all turn green and say, verified. We tried for so long, and my client was not able to make it work. So we contacted them and,

2:29:04
oh, is this the client? This is they said, Yeah, just give it time to propagate. Should work, but it hasn't worked for some reason. Okay, let me. Let me double check here. So what is so the the the

2:29:19
domain is mail dot upskill HR team, okay, let me, let me look it up for you.

2:29:26
So give me a second Sure. So mail.up,

2:29:33
skill hr team.com,

2:29:41
okay,

2:29:45
so first thing I'm gonna look up is

2:29:49
text records.

2:29:56
Okay, so

2:29:59
I'm only.

2:30:00
Pulling up. You

2:30:05
want to share the screen? Yeah,

2:30:23
okay, so I'm seeing there's a CNAME record,

2:30:29
okay,

2:30:36
hosted mail.com,

2:30:39
I don't see,

2:30:41
let's look up MX, MX lookup.

2:30:46
Yeah, there are no MX records. So,

2:30:50
yeah, it's missing all those records, all of them. That's what it looks like to me. Yeah, okay,

2:30:58
I've got this one CNAME record, but this is not a CNAME record that high level uses. So this is something that's, this is probably a default by her provider, the hosted mail, okay, provider.

2:31:11
And then if we look up,

2:31:14
okay, it was just text and MX, I think is all that. What was inside there? Inside high level, the types of records, it's just a 1c, name, text and MX, right? They were

2:31:28
text, or possibly, yeah, text, text, C, name, MX,

2:31:33
yeah, 1c,

2:31:36
then two, text, yeah, so. And note, there's no text records showing up at all. So, yeah, that's that's the problem. They're just none of those records exist. Yeah, yeah, they were, they were never added. So she may have thought she added it, but they never got added. So that's even worse than that. It's the it's the person on the other side of the the domain provider said it was going to take an hour or two to propagate. So, you know, I assumed that it was, they were all in, yeah, I'm not seeing any of them. Okay, yeah, when I go here, yeah, I can't see any of them.

2:32:15
And they should, they would show here.

2:32:19
And what is that side? MX toolbox.com,

2:32:23
okay, yeah,

2:32:25
that could be handy. MX toolbox,

2:32:28
yeah, it's a free tool, yeah, and you can punch any email, ad or any domain into it so that you can look all this stuff up. Yeah.

2:32:40
All right. Jason, thank you again, and you're off the hook with me. All

2:32:45
right. Alex, sounds good,

2:32:49
right? Guys, I think we're going to wrap it up there. Yeah,

2:32:54
we're almost an hour over. So I think unless anybody has anything pressing, give you one,

2:33:01
two chances. Did you say chances? Depressing? What's that? Did you say depressing or pressing? Pressing? Now? Yeah, no, not done. Not depressing.

2:33:13
I can handle tech problems.

2:33:16
I'm not a therapist here, so you

2:33:21
do a good job. I appreciate. Pretty sure maybe I would. I don't

2:33:26
know. I'm a tech

2:33:28
therapist. There you go. Yep, can you fix my own DNS records please? Yeah,

2:33:35
all right. Thank you so much. Yep, no problem. Alrighty, guys, I'm gonna, I'm gonna wrap it up there. Thanks everybody for showing up. Was a great call.
