What's happening, guys, happy Tuesday. Welcome to SDA. I You've got questions. We've got answers. That's why we're here. So bottom of the zoom window, if you click on that little react button, it's a heart icon, you'll see the option to raise your hand. Go ahead and raise your hand, and we'll start taking some questions. We'll get everybody in line. Awesome. So we've got several people raising their hand. Cool. Let's just jump right in. Eric, looks like you're up first.
0:36
Oh, hi. I am having trouble with the connection of my domain name to the smart directory AI within high level. I purchased my domain name through high level, and I have followed all the instructions as well as I can, and I go to the domain name on the internet, it tells me it's not secure and it won't load the domain. It won't load anything.
1:10
Okay, do you want to share your screen and see if we can't figure it out? I know. I just talked to Cameron, and there were, there's still a couple of outstanding issues with domains, I believe. But let's see if we can't figure out your situation here. So if you've got it pulled up, Bill, just go ahead and share your screen. We'll jump right in.
1:29
Sure I'm sharing it now. Let me say, Gosh, it's just repeating the camera a million times. Let me see, go to, how do I keep it from repeating the screen a million times? I can't quite I said,
1:59
share screen. And that was,
2:04
yeah, you're already sharing screen right now.
2:07
Can you see that my screen is being repeated? Yep,
2:10
yeah, you can just go ahead and try just switching tabs. Okay, let's go ahead and
see. Now it looks like it's still repeating it for whatever reason here. Let me. Let me stop your share. Okay, and go ahead and just try that one more time. Just try to find the window where you've got high level pulled up.
2:42
Let me see if here's Google Chrome. This is just stole me. Invitation, payment, portable.
3:03
Oh, why don't you go to somebody else right away and let me come, let me get this all set up, and then up and then put me back on.
3:10
Yeah, no problem. Yeah, we can circle right back around. Okay. Awesome. Thanks. Bill. Eric,
3:21
how's it going good? How you doing good? I'm trying to get to the challenge here. Maybe I could show you, and if not, I'll have to get back on behind these gentlemen here. But let me share my screen. I
3:45
I don't know if you guys could see
3:47
it. Yeah, it's pulling up right now.
3:51
So perfect when we're when we have a lead and play like Kenyan Electric Company, our team members are when we talk to the person, what we're doing is trying to schedule like a zoom call, and we've been we have the business name here as well, but when we talk to the person for this person would be Nikki, and What we notice is it creates a second record. And we're wondering. A lot of our team members are putting their first name here, so, like, this would be the lead they would type in Nikki right here, right so that at least we could communicate properly. And so we're seeing and on this one, we changed it. Sorry. But, um, but when we go on to the listing, it pops up. Nikki, again, I just changed it, but it's drawing in that information, I guess.
4:52
Yeah, the way, the way that SDI work SDA, I works with contact records inside high level. I. Yeah, we this may, we may be able to fix this in the future, but right now, currently, first name, the first name field has to contain the business name, so if you want to also add, say, a contacts name that owns the business or is associated with the business what we've been suggesting is just to create a custom field called owner's first name, owner's last name. That way you can keep that first name field reserved for the business name, so that it works properly with the SDA I app
5:38
I see. So what we don't want to do is change here. We want to create a custom field to them
5:43
right, called owner's first name, owner's last name. And then you can play, you know how you can readjust, like, the placement of custom fields on the back end of high level. So you could go into this contact folder inside custom fields, create those custom fields, and then organize them so that they appear right here at the top, right underneath first name, last name.
6:04
Yes, understand that. So how do we communicate with them? Because it seems to me, and I apologize, I'm fairly new with this is when they claim it. It pops up a new record. This is them claiming that business, correct? We have Nicky McCormick claiming this business and it creates a second, a separate contact record. Is that correct?
6:27
Yeah, so we've got business records, and then we've got what we call Consumer records. And so the the business record, which is a contact car or contact record inside the contact section of high level that that's what I was just describing. We use the first name to place the business name. We place the business name in the first name field, right? That's the business record. Yep, exactly. Then when somebody goes to claim it, you're right, they they create what's called a consumer record that's associated with this business record, and that's where you see their first name and last name on that consumer record. If you go to the context section of high level, where you can see all of your contacts, yeah, you just pull that up on the far right side, under tags, you'll see two different types of tags. You'll see a business tag soon as this pulls up, and then you'll see consumer you see that on the far right there. I see tag right so you see business so any, any lit, any entry in here that has the business tag, that's a business listing. Any entry in here that has the consumer tag, that's the consumer that's that's now claimed their business, or it could just be a consumer of the site right here. So you'll see right there, yep.
7:58
And then the name is draws in the Kenya ledger. Yeah. Do we need to add anything else, like a sign, like follower combined?
8:08
Only if you have, like, the the owner or follower feature that would be like, if you have a sales team and they're the ones responsible for that lead and responsible for following up, then, yeah, that's when I would use maybe the owner follower. So if you have, like, a salesperson, and then maybe a sales manager, they would be a follower. Whoever owns the lead, who's ever you know responsible for that lead, would be the owner, perfect.
8:37
I think one more question. So our process at the moment is we call the person, can you electric and let's say we talk to Nikki. Do how do we do we just send the email and everything through here. We don't create a contact record, because if I create a custom field, I don't believe it will draw her information correct only from here the first name, right?
9:07
Not unless you you adjusted those emails. So I you know we've seen several people that have done like different things, where they've adjusted the emails to use the new merge field for owner first name rather than first name. So, like, you know how high level has contact dot first underscore, name, right? That's the merge field for first name. So we've seen people, they just swap that for that new custom field, which would be owner's first name, right? In some of the email templates. Other people I've seen, they've taken, they've created, like, email snippets, right? Have you ever used email snippets? So, yeah, so create, like, a an email snippet, so and then they would just manually send that email, and inside that email snippet. It, they address it that the merge field they use is that owner's first name, right? Yeah. The other thing too, like, if you don't have the first name, if you use the snippet, if you're doing it manually, you can always edit it before you send it. So there's multiple ways that you can handle it based on kind of your sales process. Yeah.
10:19
I'm just wondering, because this is like, for instance, this is her, the main company's line. They have a different email, and, you know, sending a text message or an email is going to the main line versus the owner now. And so the only way, at least I'm aware of is to create a new contact record to do that or change this information. But then this information goes to the you don't
10:44
want to change this one, because this is the this record that you're looking at right here. This is the actual business record that that SD, AI, the app pulls from to create the listing. Yep, yeah. Okay, so you want to be real careful with changing, especially the name that under the first name field
11:05
there, got it, okay? So the best thing to do for now is just create custom fields for that.
11:11
I would, yeah, I think that's going to be, that's that's the easiest route, I think, so that you can store that information if you want to have it available here and not screw anything up, you know, with with the app itself, because anytime you make a change here, it will update on the app.
11:30
Yeah, I see that awesome. I think that's it, man. Thank you so much, guys. I appreciate it. You have a great day. The other thing
11:36
you can take advantage too, is the is the notes fields. I don't know if you ever use those over here on the right, yeah, yep, exactly, yeah. So if your sales guys want to start taking notes, they can use that all day long, okay, and that's not going to affect anything, and that's not going to be publicly displayed anywhere,
11:57
okay, perfect. Yeah. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. You guys. Have a good day. Yeah, you too. Thanks, Eric, thank you. Bobby.
12:08
Well, that just opened another can of worms. I just start. I just started trying to get really into this. And my biggest problem is the customers don't know what we talk about. They don't know how to put their company name in the first name. And I had 35 I emailed all my old customers when I first started, and had 35 listings, but they all had first names, that's all. It's all showed up. And I didn't know what was going on, so I just deleted them all. You know, they need to have this thing set up when they put in their company name, it shows up on their company name, not their first name, and they need to fix that before I can even picture myself promoting it. Because what the customer comes in and then they just, oh, this is not working, and fuck it.
13:12
Leave. Are when you promote the site, are you having businesses go to the site and add their using the form it's on their add business form, okay, yeah, I haven't tested it in a while to see if that, if there is a glitch there, if there's an issue. But you know, when you add a when you add a spreadsheet of businesses through high level, right? They automatically those the business names automatically go into that first name field. So there's nothing they have to do. They don't have to worry about it. Just, well,
13:50
I deleted, I deleted all them too. I deleted everything except the two companies I put in my company and the sign company I'm at scratch, and I'm mailing them a template letter now that says that if they're a customer, sign a sign company. I'm giving them the premium listing free, not just the free listing, and to reward them as being a customer. But how do I get I don't know, well, another thing that I that was something that I wasn't prepared to ask. It's just that it came up and I thought, man, it's crappy. I mean, why can't it just work instead of having to work around everything, as long as there's workarounds, I'm going to have trouble doing it. I can't I don't know how to do a custom value or anything. The problem I got right now is I set up two calendars, and when I tested them, they send me the. The notifications and all that, but there's no link on it. There's no way to go to a zoom call. But I got this other meeting meeting thing that I like to use, I don't know how to set up, you know, it sends the notifications to me and all that stuff works in high level, but I don't have a link, either a zoom link or a meeting link. I'm wanting to use this meet meetup link instead of zoom
15:31
Google, meet. Well, no,
15:34
it's let me. Let me share my screen. Let's see I'm not sure which screen. I guess it's that one. See, it's this here,
15:56
meeting, and I bought this lifetime thing on it, they did a webinar, and it really looked nice. You could set up, you know, everything in advance. So you do a webinar or a trade, you know, show people different things, and you just, you know, change the name and log in. But I don't know enough about this either, but I gotta put a link in there somewhere, and I don't know how to do that in high level, where we put the link. You know if it was, if it was like and go to this. And when I set it up, I guess I gotta set it up in high level. But, you know, I got this calendar here and I tested it, it sends me everything, but no link.
17:01
What do you what are you using for that? What's connected to that calendar? You do you have?
17:06
I don't have it. I guess I don't have anything connected to it, but I don't know how to go about connecting something to it.
17:13
So inside high level, if you go to your profile, inside high level, so if you go to settings, just click on settings in the bottom left there
17:28
is that? Why is it? Got this ink pen
17:37
here, let me, let me stop your share. Sometimes zoom. Does that? Okay, go ahead and re share.
Okay, cool, yeah, just scroll up towards the top of the page on the left menu there, the left hand menu.
18:08
I'll scroll up on here. Yeah, let's
18:11
make sure we're under Yeah. Click on my profile, under business profile there. There
you go. And then just scroll down and a little bit further there you go. There's your calendar settings. So this is where you'll, you'll, you'll, you'll connect your calendar, and then right next to it, do you see where it says video conferencing. If you go up just a little bit, you just scrolled a little too far. There it is. So this is where you'll connect any like outside calendar. So this is where you would connect like either an Outlook calendar or Google or Apple calendar that you want to sync with. So that first off, any appointment that gets created from that calendar you just showed me will then automatically show up on whatever calendar you typically use. You know, that's usually people will use or connect, you know, whatever calendar they use on their phone that's connected to their phone so that their meetings automatically show up. And this is your video conferencing. So if you're going to use Zoom, it looks like it needs to be reconnected. So you'd go ahead and reconnect there, or you would connect. You can connect.
19:25
How do you get? How do you connect, confirm, okay. How you can't connect? A new one. Had a new one, yep. So how do I get that one in there?
19:45
Yeah, you just just click on if right there at the top. So you got Google meet zoom, or Microsoft Teams, whichever one you want to use.
19:52
Well, I know, but I want to use that other one, the meetup
19:55
outside, ping, Jason Cole in,
19:59
oh, okay. So that's, that's the link that you want to use for when somebody, so somebody goes to that link to actually do the video call.
20:11
So how do I get it into the calendar? So it's in the if you
20:15
go back to that, yeah, I'll show you where to go if you just go back to that meet N meeting, or whatever it's called, they should have given you a link. Yeah, there you go. Btw, media, that's probably your link, right there and then. So you're not going to use, you're not going to use the video conferencing connection that high level has. So what you'll do is inside your calendar. So if you click on the Go Back button here, let me get my drawing tool to make it easier for you. So you click on this here, and then you're going to go into your calendars. And then you're going to find, go into Calendar settings here,
you can close that that's just a helper menu. So we just got to figure out which calendar is the one that you want to use here. You know which one?
21:32
Well, the demo calendar is the one that's set up for the AI on that one page that we just was on called Demo calendar.
21:45
Okay, all right, so what I would do is edit this, and then, you know, you could you. So here's the here's the name of the calendar, here's the description box. So in this description box you can tell them, you know, you could provide the link in that description box, or you could just tell them, hey, once you actually, yeah, that's probably what I would do inside the description box. I would just probably put some text. You don't have to do it right now, but you I would put some text in there that, you know, once the once you book an appointment, we'll send you a link to the call, some something along those lines, and then under the guess it's probably gonna, I think it's under Advanced Settings. That's where, yeah, let's see your form and confirmation. I can't remember which one it is. Click on form and confirmation for me, see if that's it. Now let's go to notifications and policies. Yeah, right there, and then scroll down.
Just scroll. Keep going, keep going. There, there it is, yeah, meeting invite notes. So this is where I would place that link inside here. So I'd place that link inside the the meeting notes. And then there'll be one more place we'll put it, but I definitely put it here, because then it's as soon as they they book these notes will go along with that meeting, regardless of the calendar that they use, so they'll always see that.
23:42
Okay? It Well, put it in there for now. I don't know if that's all the words
23:51
save your changes. You can always come back and edit this, right?
23:56
Let me move y'all up here. I don't see a save anywhere
24:02
up here in the
24:04
right hand corner. Okay, I was looking at the bottom.
24:09
And then let's go back to probably basic details. Let's try that.
And then scroll down for me, yeah, here we go. So, oh, maybe not. Okay, oh, staff and location, sorry, staff and location, that's where we want. We want location. So select yourself here, and then under meeting location, leave it as custom, and then put the link in here as well. There you go. And then just hit save changes.
24:53
So I'm gonna have to go back and test it again see how it works. I. Okay. Do you think they're going to ever fix this first name thing? I mean, I've been it's basically what stopped me from working on the whole the whole thing beginning, because I figured, well, they're going to fix that, because it was so confusing, because people would put in their first name and it would show up. Their business wouldn't show up. Their first name showed up.
25:23
Are you talking about the form on the front end? So when you go to the SDA, I live site and click on Add business. Is that what you're talking
25:34
about, I guess. But
25:37
this form, yes.
25:39
I mean, most people are just going to put their first name. They don't know that they have to put their business their business name should be showing up on the directory, not their first name, right?
25:51
So the way, I mean, I haven't tested this in a while, but the way that it's supposed to work is that if you put your first name here, that that's fine. If you put your business name here on the back end. What it does is it swaps and it puts it, it takes the business name and puts it into the first name field automatically on the back end. That's what it's supposed to do. Yeah. Well, I haven't tested it in a while to make I know we in the very beginning, we had a glitch where that wasn't working properly, but to my knowledge, that has been fixed.
26:29
Okay, well, that that just threw me for a loop, and the other guy just talked about it. I mean it, my brain just goes numb after I get too many things to do, and I start working on one thing and then another, and then all of a sudden, my brain just kicks out and says, No more. It's too, too complicated. I'm gone. My brain just kicks out. I don't know why.
26:57
Yeah, no, I get it, but I think from a from a customer perspective, they should notice anything. It should just, that's
27:07
the important part. But I had, I guess I've seen all those emails out in the very beginning, because I loaded all my customers and had a mass mailing and like 35 people signed up, but they all had first names and no pictures, no nothing. So I ended up just deleting them all. And I need to learn how to load these things in from a pro, you know, the prospecting tool. Look up their company name once they they, once they get the letter and and say, Yes, I just want to load them out of the prospecting tool, hit a button, and it loads their whole company
27:59
into high levels and adds the business tag.
28:04
Yeah, I think we can do as long as it's, as long as you're using the prospecting tool inside the sub account, yeah, you, you should be able to do that. And then the only other thing is making sure that that record just has that high level business tag.
28:19
Yeah. Video specifically and put it on our back page. Whatever about that, if he hadn't already it right here, just have that step by step process. Because I, I want I know how he said it worked, but I can't. I can't diagnose it. I mean, I can't figure it out on my own.
28:43
Did he not create? He didn't create a step by step video for that?
28:47
Well, if he did, I don't know where it is, which over here? I don't know which one it is. I've been trying to go through these. I know he did a YouTube video, but I don't know if he's got a step by step video for this or not.
29:04
Okay, Stephanie or or rachika Ron, do you guys know anybody here? They could lend some assistance on that? Do you have any idea if, if Tom has created a step by step video for using the prospecting tool within a sub account to then take those businesses that you find using the prospecting tool and add those as listings.
29:30
I just want to do one at a time. I've already got the prospecting tool set up for the $29 one, and I just want to do one at a time. You know, when I get okay from them, hey, yeah, that sounds cool, or whatever, they respond to the email, I just want to add them. Or I may just add them as soon as I get the referral, you know, right? I just looked their name up. I already got their name. Name, you know, in my sign company. So I just looked their name up and do the prospecting thing and send them, send them a note, an email with the with the results of the process, not this prospecting thing, but the where the audit, the audit, what do they call it? Once you do the prospecting tool, you can do an audit on their direct on their whole online presence, and then send them the send them that and send them here is your new listing, and just show them that goes right to it right? That's kind of my plan, but getting it working, I just, man, I wish I could just pay somebody to do what I want to do. I'm not a computer guy anymore.
30:53
Well, let's see. Rachika, do you? Is she here? I don't know if she's here or not. Hi.
30:59
Nissen, Yep, yeah. That video is not a part of knowledge base for smart directory, okay, yeah, I think that is somewhere else which I can try to find out and maybe share hearing them. Okay, yeah,
31:16
yeah, maybe check Tom's YouTube channel see if anything pops up right there. But yeah, if we can, let's see if we can't find that video and drop that back and drop that into chat, if you can please, that'd be great. Yep, sure,
31:33
awesome. Let's right now.
31:36
And what I'll do, Bobby, too, is all. I'll add a I'll add a note to see if it isn't, if it's more of kind of like a general video on YouTube. Maybe, oh, I can send Tom a note to see if he can film more of like a step by step.
31:55
Yeah, if you could email him or something and tell him, please, please do. Because I thought that was a really good video. It's just It jumped too fast for me to catch everything right. I got the concept, I just didn't get the How to details. Yep, and he wasn't actually explaining it in a way that was for me or for my use case, but it just gave me the information I could picture using it for what I want to use it for.
32:38
No, I got it. I got it. I just made a note. So I'll shoot him a note after the call and see if, if he's already filmed something, if we can't find it, if not, maybe he can. I'll ask him if he could please film something for you guys. Okay, I appreciate it. Yeah, no worries. Anything else?
32:57
I guess it's all for now. My brain's not working at the moment.
33:03
Rachika just dropped a link in there. Okay, cool. That is a process that is using the prospector tool. Do you see that link there?
33:15
Bobby? Let's see.
33:19
Should just put it in chat.
33:21
Okay, I might have to scroll down.
33:26
I just opened it up. That is a that is using. That's a video using. It's a 23 minute video for the prospecting tool.
33:34
Okay, does it say 120 businesses in two minutes? Okay, yeah, I got it up on the screen now,
33:43
yeah, maybe check that out and see if that that won't help you.
33:46
Okay, that's pretty sure. Yeah, okay, awesome. I'm not sharing my screen right now, am I? Yeah, you're still shared.
33:56
Okay, well, you can turn me off. Okay, awesome. Thanks. Bobby, Okay, thanks, right.
34:04
Bill, are you ready for us to circle back to you
like you're still on mute there? Bill,
34:13
Yeah, I'm ready. Okay, cool. All right, let's go. Question.
34:27
I can hear you. Yeah, we can hear you. You're echoing a little bit, but I can hear you.
34:34
He is logged in twice, and he's got salmon on both accounts. That's why it's reverberating, okay,
34:50
which.
35:00
Okay, well, if you can understand me, let me just show You the screen that I get.
35:31
Okay,
35:38
since it's your talking with
35:43
Bob, okay, and you connected the domain. So if you go to branding, click on branding, and then domain, right there at the top. Scroll back up. It says domain. Do you see that right next to general number two? There you go. Have you connected your domain here? Okay, go ahead and hit update there.
Going to try to pull it up on my end to see if it's working. Springs business hub,
i Same thing, okay? And you're you're wet, or your domain is hosted through high level. You said, I will support or tell me it's all correct. They said it's all correct. Yeah, okay, let's just double check. So let's go back into your high level account for me real quick, and then go to settings in the bottom left. And then on this second page, we're going to go to domains and URL redirects. Do you see that right down here? Okay, it looks like springs hub, cool. Let's go to manage and go to DNS records.
And 104, 230-650-3124, yeah, that's the right IP address. Okay, so that's been added correctly. Let's go. There was one more trying to think, what should I check? C name, let's go back to let's go back to SD. Ai, real quick. When did you? When did you set this up bill
39:50
I purchased on high level?
39:53
Oh, there it goes. Now it's working, yeah, so it's, it's pulling up for me. Now it may have just been a cash issue. You. So I'm able to load it now, yeah, springs, business hub.com, on my end, yeah,
because when I first tried to load it, it wasn't working. But now,
try, try an incognito window. I
same, yep, and it looks like several people in the chat, it said the same thing. So it's work. It looks like several people it's working for. So what I would do if you can just clear your cash just for that one site. So if you want to pull up the tab one more time in your browser and go to springs business hub. You
41:43
I close this
42:02
same thing. Does cloud? No, it shouldn't like I said, it's loading just fine on my end, my big my thought is that there is it could be, what browser are you using? You're using DuckDuckGo Chrome. Oh, you're using Chrome. Okay. I
42:49
well,
42:57
come back.
43:01
Yeah, built, no. It should be showing up for you here very shortly. You can see rachika Just showed a screenshot. I'm seeing it perfectly on my end as well. And it's obviously something in the browser. You can see it's not showing the SSL for some reason, right? So it's showing not secure, and that could be a reason why it's not loading it, but it's loading perfectly. On my
43:34
end, when you
43:36
SSL is automatic, that's correct.
43:42
I'll keep looking,
43:47
yeah, I might try, maybe try a different browser, and then just stay on the call. I would give it a couple of minutes. Maybe try a different browser. Try, maybe, what else do you have down there? Looks like you got Firefox. You've got Safari. Try opening up a different browser and see if you can't get it to work, because we tried incognito and that was still not returning the site. So let's try. Let's try a different browser for you and see if we can't get it to show up. But it should resolve itself. I would believe it would resolve itself in the next 30 minutes or so on your end, because everybody's is seeing the same thing. Okay, okay, awesome. Thank you. No problem, right? Doug, looks like you're up next.
44:32
Hi Jason, hi guys. Hey, I've got a couple of questions about voice AI and the associated actions, can I just share my screen?
44:51
And
44:58
okay, now. And my voice AI, is working perfectly if I call in. And the other day, I tried to make a new listing. So I called in on the on the the voice bot, and it set up a new listing. Here you can see I put in a business name and it took the it took the phone number and it took the business name, but it never put in a contact name or an email address. And when I checked the actions here, the new lead action, I see that it all seemed good, except there was nothing in this section here. But it threw me, because I thought, if this is not working, then and not setting, if someone called in and set up a new action, it's pretty good that it's got the got this far, but I've got, I've got the phone number, but I don't have the email. I gave it a new email, but it didn't, it didn't load. It is that? Is there anything we need to do with the with the actions to get them working, or do they just work as they are set up now with the default settings.
46:24
I believe they, I yeah, I believe they should just work with the default but I do remember I thought Cameron had told me that there was something here that they were having a problem with rachika. Do you recall that? Do you recall an issue with the cameras mentioned about the bot?
46:47
Yeah, actually, it was working fine with the default settings. But I think this particular scenario we need to test on our end as well so that we can replicate, okay,
46:58
yeah, because it should, by default, it should fill out that that first name field with business name correct, yeah, yeah.
47:08
So in this, in this case, yes, it put the, it put the business name here in that right under the business name. And there's nothing over here in the in the first name. And it did give me the did collect the the phone number, but didn't collect the email address. So, you know, obviously they that is contactable and but it would be good if it because I gave it an email address, obviously. And I was just wondering, now, the just going on from that, is it, is it necessary for me to set up the outbound agent as well? Because I only set up the the inbound inbound agent, and when you I'm here agents list. I set up the inbound, but I haven't done anything with the outbound, other than I would just I had prior to this call, I had a contact with support, and I had in here. I've since added the a phone number to the outbound but I haven't done anything else with it. And to be honest, I don't recall there being much in, if anything, in the in the training regarding the outbound agent. So my question is, is it necessary for me to set up the outbound or if I wasn't planning on using the outbound for a outbound agent as a prospecting tool?
48:52
Yeah, I mean me personally, I would probably opt not to use outbound. I think, I think the AI agent is good for inbound inquiries, but I don't know. I guess I have, I'm a little bit biased. I don't personally, like when I receive any type of AI calls myself, and so for business purposes, like, to me, this is not the best use for prospect, or the best way to prospect in mind,
49:30
yeah, yeah, I agree with that. That's why I never set it up initially. I just thought the inbound was was great, and it's been working, you know, all my testing, it's worth beautifully Yeah, it and it was just this one was a bit of a curve ball with it that I I asked, I thought, well, I'll check it to see if it'll set up a new a new contact. And it did. It did a pretty good job, but it missed the email address and and this contact, i.
50:00
Would submit a ticket, so we can take a second look at your account and see if there's something that maybe accidentally got deleted, or if there is a glitch or some sort of a bug there. Because, yeah, you shouldn't have to do anything. It should just work out of the box. So that's strange to me, that that that it didn't pick up the email there, and it didn't swap. The didn't put the business name in the correct field. So if you can just submit a support ticket, that'd be great.
50:29
Yes, yeah. And the is it necessary that we, oh, sorry, we're on the outbound. Let me just go to that inbound with a final inbound and hang on pension goals, yeah. And as I said here, you'll notice this is a a necessary, required field, but there was nothing in it, so it, it seems to be working without it. But is it the anything? I guess it could. I could just put something in there. It's not going to make any, any difference. I don't expect and but nothing was there now, so, but I'll, I'll submit that ticket and or I'm continuing the process. I had a ticket previously with running with support, so I'll continue talking with Stephanie about it. But I just on the call, I thought I'd ask you while we're here. So, but no, it's done a pretty good job, I thought. Anyway, so we can refine tuning, but and the rest of these actions you think are all good as as per the default,
51:50
yes, I do. Okay,
51:52
fantastic. I'll let you move on. Thanks for that.
51:55
Yeah, no worries. Doug, bye for now. Yeah. And if you, if you want, you can also submit a loom video, just kind of walking through those different scenarios that can help the support team as well.
52:09
Okay, very good. Awesome. Thanks guys. Yep, no worries.
52:15
All right. Mark,
52:17
Jason, how you doing good? Awesome, awesome. Thanks for hosting. I'm just going to share my screen here. Kind of nude all this. So just to give you some context, are you seeing my screen? Yep, we can see it awesome. Okay, so I connected the sub domain for my email, so that's ready to go out. I've got my page set up. I purchased the site through GHL, and it's linked and and it's working. First question is, should I, like, include down here in the footer or somewhere, just like a contact phone number to me, so if someone's landing on this page at all, they just have someone to contact,
53:01
sure? Yeah, of course, yeah, I would,
53:05
right, yeah, okay, definitely. And then so far, as far as, like, next steps, what else do I need to do? So I've got the list from you guys of 100 and I'm kind of breaking that down into three groups, electricians, plumbers, HVAC. I'm going to do one group at a time. I'm wondering what I need to do to, like, finish getting the smart directory AI ready to have the list imported.
53:45
So, like, I would have you, do you have, like, a brand, like any type of, like, colors, logo, things like that.
53:55
I'm not going to much really care about the way that the page looks like, beyond this, if that's what you're talking about.
54:01
Okay, okay, yeah, yeah. Then I would say, yeah, if, if you're gonna leave it as is, yeah, I don't think there's really much to do. Then I would say, you've got the list. Have you started uploading that list into into high level yet?
54:20
No, that was my next thing. It's like, you know, I'll go, I'll go to high level, and I'll import them as contacts, right? And then I was wondering, like, with that, then kind of, what the next steps are? You know, does it automatically put the labels on them and the tags on them? Or what's the process?
54:39
No, so, yeah, you need to decide kind of how you want to lay out that menu and how you want those listing to listings to show. We've give you kind of some default categories that you can use to set up. But yeah, it's kind of up to you. And you know, everybody sets it up a little bit different, but whether you do it by city or whether you do it by. A like category, and then city or city, then category. I mean, it's kind of up to you how you want to lay that out. But that's what that the menu builder you just had up on your screen there just a second ago. Yeah, there you go. There's your menu builder. So you can, you know, decide how you want to lay this out. And when you upload that spreadsheet, you can upload tags in that in that upload, and those tags will carry over here into your menu builder. So you've got your high level tag, which is your business tag, right? And then you've got what we call business tags. But I know we changed it, it's business rachika, help me out. Is it listing labels? Thank you, listing labels and that, and we need to in the spreadsheet. Do we need to name that column listing label now?
56:02
So sorry I missed
56:03
that it went when we're doing a bulk upload of businesses in that spreadsheet, do we need to now label that column? Listing labels?
56:15
No that same so we have tutorial video on this one as well over here.
56:28
Oh, got it cool. Do you see that mark? She just dropped it in the chat. Oh, the listing labels. Okay. Yeah. So, yeah, I would definitely go through this video, yeah, as to how you want to lay out that menu, and this will help you with that.
56:52
Okay, is that prep work that I do prior to importing the list? Yes, yeah, I see, yeah.
56:59
Well, I mean, you you can do it after the fact, but this will just make your job a lot easier if you do it prior. Yeah, you don't have to go back.
57:07
Yeah, right. Okay, cool.
57:10
Well, that's my next step. Appreciate it. Jason, yeah, no worries. Happy to help. Okay, thank you.
57:17
Sorry to interrupt. I just shared another link that shows like, how to add listings. Awesome.
57:24
Thank you. Rachika, do you see that? That second link there, Mark, I just see our customer adds in listings.
57:34
Customer's Yes, yep. Okay, great, perfect.
57:40
There it is, there it is. Okay. Cool. Thanks, Jason, appreciate it.
57:46
Yeah, no worries. No worries, okie, doke, all right, Matt, looks like you're up next.
57:51
Hey, Jason, how's it going? Good. All right, cool. Let me share my screen, and I'll show you what I need help with. All right, so this is one of my leads, right? And reached out to you're seeing my screen, right? Yep, I can All right, cool. So my AI reaches out to him. Says, Hey, we're doing this thing. Want to confirm? He says yes, and then he sends me his website, and the AI is doing a good job, like it's updating that field, and then it's pushing over to here, like, you know, it's actually updating his listing for me, which is good. He updated his email and updated it on the listing. Like, that's all good. These are realtors, so they're the way that I organize them in the director is by county, and like, those are the tags. So that's the one field that's not updating, is their tags. And I was wondering if there's any way to do that, because it does push these into a field, like, down here somewhere. Yeah, county voice AI, I'm just wondering if this field can push to the directory the way that these other updates are so or do I have to manually go in and like tag his
59:22
directory, we could, probably, we could try just building an automation that checks for that field and then adds, just trying to think how we can add a tag dynamically, though, I don't know. I
59:45
especially if it's multiple, right? I mean, if they just had one county, that might be different, but where it's multiple, that'll be pretty technical. I.
1:00:01
So high level released a new feature that allows you to use your AI agent in workflows. Have you seen that? Yeah, this might be something that you could use the agent to process the incoming response, right? And then maybe in the prompt say, like,
1:00:27
whatever comes in for county, voice AI, update that as this tag,
1:00:32
exactly, yeah. And then and tell it like, you know, whatever separated by a comma, right? So the word before the comma, that's the tag, right? So every comma separates a separate tag. So am
1:00:47
I going to have to put in if there's 254 counties, do I need to add 254 tags and go and high level?
1:00:58
So my only fear is that, using the AI agent, that it might duplicate tags every time, rather than I don't know if I don't know, I haven't experimented with it, so I'm not sure if we, if we could just have it recall the tag, versus create a new one every time. But, but
1:01:21
if I went in and I created all those tags ahead of time, then maybe it could just go in and call it, and then
1:01:27
that could be it. Or what I was thinking is it could check if it doesn't exist, then create it, right, right? That'd be way. And that could be part of the prompt, so that you don't have to go in and do all 250 like you said, right?
1:01:41
The AI could add them as people mentioned them? Yes, exactly. Maybe I could get on a support call with high level for that now that I know what the strategy might be.
1:01:50
Yeah, I would. I would. I mean, like I said, it's a fairly new feature that I know got released, I don't know, a week ago, maybe two weeks ago, something like that fairly recent. So I don't know if a support agent is going to know how to use it exactly, but you could go in there and start experimenting and see if you can't, you know, figure it out. If not, then I would probably jump on a call with them. Okay. Well, cool. Thank you very much. Pull that agent directly into a workflow so that, yeah, that would be what I would try first all. Right, I
1:02:26
appreciate your help. Thanks. Yeah, no problem. Have a good one. You too, right?
1:02:33
Aaron, what's going on? Guys? How's it going today? Couple questions. If that's cool, kind of new to the directory listing. I'm really excited about getting it going. I've got a guy that's kind of been helping me do the technical stuff all my meetings and that kind of deal. One question I have is, how do I manage it for multi locations, like if I'm wanting to do it in Kentucky or Tennessee and Illinois and different states and that kind of stuff, because I guess I can share my screen. So right now, I've kind of got it where it's just, you know, I've got the A couple locations up here, but it's going to be more than that, obviously, as we build this out. So I didn't know if I needed to restructure the menu differently.
1:03:22
And you want to keep everything on one site.
1:03:25
I was thinking that you can coach me on maybe the best strategy there, you know, multiple states.
1:03:34
So I think if you want to go, if you really want to go wide, you want to go broad, and, you know, several different regions, or, I'm sorry, several different areas, then I would break it out by region, rather than like state or city. So I would group, maybe group several states together, something like that, if you want to stick with a single website. Or I would look at maybe building strategic sites for those cities that you really want to target. And so it'd be multiple sites, you know, so if you if you wanted to target, like a specific city, and then maybe the surrounding counties or surrounding smaller cities within that, that larger city.
1:04:24
Okay, gotcha Go ahead. If I was going to do the first mention, you know, let's just say I did it by states. Where would I do that?
1:04:36
I mean, states going to be pretty the site's going to be pretty large, unless is this, are you niching down at all? Or is this like just all different types of businesses, or is it a very specific type of business,
1:04:51
kind of various different businesses? Okay, that's not the right way to do it, but, and I guess to like so I'm. Doing coaching services along with this. And so I don't know if I need to be on this plan or if I need to be on the upgraded plan. I'm not necessarily wanting all my students to have a listing directory, because it takes a little bit of time and training to get it set up and all that kind of stuff. So my plan was just to kind of use this as a resource to provide leads and then round robin them to my students and that kind of stuff, right, right? I was trying to find, like, how do I, you know, I got one guy in California, one guy in Canada, like, all these different people. So what's the best way I can, kind of use this as a resource tool for them, right? That makes sense.
1:05:38
Yeah, I think so, yeah. So for if you want to break it out by state, then I would do, if you go to your what is it under branding? I think it is the menu builder, right? Yeah, yeah. So what I would do is, you're going to have your first level of listing. Labels is going to be your states, okay, actually, that's going to put that's going to be ton. How can we do that? I mean,
1:06:17
I'm not looking at all the states. I'm looking at, you know, a handful.
1:06:21
Okay, maybe 10, maybe 10 states, because you can't go rachika, remind me with the new menu builder, can we go three levels deep? Can we only go two? Yes, we can go three. Okay. So then, okay, yeah. Then maybe the, maybe my first option would be the better way then, is to break it up by kind of regions. Break up the entire United States by region. So you've got, like the east, like East Coast, then you've got, like, the Midwest, you've got the South, and then you've got the West, right? And those would be kind of your high level, like the top listing level categories. And then the second level would be the states included in those regions. And then below that would be your, your different niches, okay, services, yeah, whatever.
1:07:28
Okay, yeah, I like that awesome.
1:07:32
That keeps the menu bar, like, pretty clean. So there's like, you've got, like, what, five options, right? East, Midwest, South West. No. So four, four options,
1:07:43
yeah, it's not bad. Yeah. Okay, cool. And then, from a prospecting standpoint, I don't believe it pulls in the email typically. So I was just curious how people are finding that, if they're just going to like the business Facebook page for that location, and finding the email that contact and putting them in, is that typically what people do.
1:08:04
I mean, that's one way. There are tons of different like web scraping tools out there that you can use. The one that we always recommend is called d7 so d7 lead finder, that's a lead scraping tool that usually returns pretty accurate data. So you can try using something like that. There are different listing brokers out there if you wanted to buy a list of different businesses within a certain area. And then lastly, AI, so using chat or Gemini or whatever, AI tool that you prefer to go out and create a list and try to find email addresses using AI, yeah, I don't know
1:08:48
if there's anything in the prospecting tool that I was missing or something like that that you know, prospecting
1:08:53
tool sometimes returns emails if you're using that, and sometimes it doesn't. So it just depends. But d7 is a great alternative. It's fairly inexpensive, I don't know, 30 bucks a month, or 40 bucks a month, something like that. D7 lead finder, we like I said, we've had pretty good success with that. What that does is it scrapes Google Maps. Gotcha? Okay, cool, yeah, it scrapes Google Maps, and so the data is usually pretty accurate, and then it returns it into a spreadsheet that you can you can use and then upload. It returns more than just business, name, address, phone, email. It returns like, you know, what their review rating is, what their average star rating is, how many reviews they have. Several other data points that are. They're kind of cool as well, website as well.
1:09:50
So okay, cool, yeah, there you can play with Yeah. Thank you very much. Yeah. No worries. You. Right Mark.
1:10:09
Hey guys, how you doing good? How you doing great? Well, couple of things here, and actually, you some of the other guys really touched on it earlier, when you're creating let me share my screen here for a second. Figure out which screen I gotta share. I think it's screen three. Can you see the customization for directory? Yeah, okay. So, so basically, in the menu builder, which and yes, you can go three levels deep. So what I did with mine was I created different areas of the Las Vegas Valley, so to speak. That's what they call it. So we go to the historic West Side, going to the services, we go to downtown Las Vegas, we go to Henderson. These are all areas within the valley Street, blah, blah, blah. So here's my question with the tags, for example, like dining is dining is in every single one of them. Now what I want to do is I want to separate. I don't want to have all the restaurants in the historic west side, which is literally half an hour drive from Henderson to be there. So I want them to be localized within the areas. But when I put in the dining tab, it goes across all three or four or five or whatever. So do I do dining ws for West Side or Yes, dining, okay, that's, that's what, that's how you get around that. Yep, alright, so thank you for confirming that. Here's my biggest problem, whether I So, I've again, I've tested this on myself, and actually I did it again while I was on with you guys, just to make sure it still did that. But if you go to, like, add a business on the actual site itself, which hasn't gone alive yet. I'm still in the preview mode. It sends it kicks in the workflow as it's supposed to do. The triggers, all work, all that good stuff, but every single email goes to junk, and in the beginning, like, kind of confused the crap out of me, until one day, you know, I said, Hey, let me go to the junk folder, and it's there so and I made it safe and safeless and all that kind of good stuff still doesn't work, because, like I said, while I was waiting for my turn here, I did it again, went to junk and then the other thing is, when I respond to that, because I set up a fake name and but I use the real email address and a real phone number, when I reply to that, it goes nowhere. And when I look in here, under my content section, I mean, there's an email, there's a phone, it's all there. So where the hell did so first of all, my incoming goes to junk. Second of all, when I reply to it, it literally goes nowhere. I can't find it anywhere. So that's a big, big, big issue.
1:13:39
Okay, let's go ahead and go and check out your domain. If you click on settings in the bottom left, sure. And then let's go to your domains. Or I'm sorry, let's go to email services. Sorry. Email services. Oh, you're just there, right there, right there. Okay, yeah, okay, well, there you go. That's, that's the first problem. So right now, if you see, right let me get my drawing tool here. Right now, this sub account that we're inside of is using a default domain that's provided by high level this Mg, MS, sndr, dot biz, right? Yeah, yep. So that's where your emails, your emails are coming from this domain, and that's an issue, because this domain, I'm sure, has been blacklisted because there's hundreds, probably 1000s of people that
1:14:45
are 1000s, 10s of 1000s, yeah, so your first step
1:14:49
is actually setting up your own dedicated domain.
1:14:53
So right over here, exactly. Yep. Okay, so which I do have dedicated domains? Okay? So I that hopefully will solve that problem. Oh, so here, here's my other issue. Let's go back to we're in settings right now, right go back. Go to my Okay, we're back in a smart directory. Okay, so go to branding. Let's go to content, alright, so, so in the at the bottom, in the footer section, there's a Learn More section and a Contact Us section, which contacts, okay, we kind of figured out the junk section part about it, but the learn more and contact us. How do I edit that? And if I go down all the way bottom to the footer content, it just says, my address, copyright, blah, blah, blah, but it doesn't show me. I mean, right over here in the footer section is the learn more and content. Yeah, it's the learn more and something else. Oh, privacy policy. Oh, those pages, yeah, the pages are there, but they need to be edited with my company name and all that kind of good stuff. And yeah, yeah.
1:16:17
So that's done inside high level. So if you go under sites over
1:16:21
here, okay, yep.
1:16:25
And then you're under funnels and go into smart directory, AI, right? And there's all your pages. So this is where you'll edit that content.
1:16:33
Okay, so that's simple enough. Oh, and I have one last one. This is a big ask, and it's probably no so on your AI assistant chat widget, or the front page where, you know Tom's one is set up, really cool, and I've watched the video 100 times, and the demos and all that good stuff, is there a pre made knowledge base for that chat? Ai, Assistant chat widget for the the front of the page or not.
1:17:08
Good question. I
1:17:11
does I'd rather steal it than recreate. It.
1:17:16
Is for AI. I'm not sure if we have I'm just Looking see if I've got anything here.
1:17:38
Hmm,
1:17:54
I'm not seeing anything. Rachika, do you know? Do we have a knowledge base? Case that students can use for the bot, for the chat bot,
1:18:09
I think there is one with the default setup. There is, but I'm also cross checking the same I
1:18:38
mark. Give us a second. Let's see if we can't find it,
1:18:41
take it. Take your time. Yeah,
1:18:46
if we can, let's see. I'll have rich Chica post it in the chat. Or do you have any other questions, though?
1:18:59
Right now? No, right now. Okay, I'm good. You guys have been very helpful and and actually, I've been talking to Chica via email. So nice to hear. Finally, hear your voice for Chica. He sent me an email this morning. She's a rock star. Everybody her instead, they double, they double tag me sometimes. Yeah, yeah, thank you so much. Yeah, they're awesome. So So, yeah, if you could post that, rachika, that'd be awesome. And thank you so much, and we'll see you on the next one. Awesome. Thanks, Mark.
1:19:39
All right, so it looks like we've got chan up next.
1:19:45
Hey, Jason, how is it going? Going good. How you doing good?
1:19:51
Good. Thanks for asking. Yeah. I just actually signed up yesterday for I'm still in the middle of free trial period. I. And still in the process of, you know, setting up everything, and I just leave my VAs to do the stuff in the back end. So we have this problem, let me just, you know, share my screen. I'm not really sure to why I cannot, you know, set up the the premium plan in here, maybe because I'm still in the trial period, or I'm just going to wait, you know, to subscribe after the trial period, you
1:20:31
need a Stripe account. That's so you need to connect your Stripe account. Once you connect a Stripe account, then you'll be able to you'll you won't have any issues with your pricing plans back here.
1:20:41
Got it? Got it? Yeah, I see alright. And also just a quick question as well, is there a way that we can adjust the sizing of the logo in our website? Because in the back end system, if you go to the branding, there's no other option.
1:20:59
Yeah, I know it's this is something that's come up several times in the past. I know it's something that the team is working on, but as of right now, there isn't my suggestion would be, if you can, I know that's more of kind of like a vertical format logo. Maybe you have, or could create more of a horizontal logo, if you can, that would be a little bit easier. Additionally, I know that that last screenshot that you had there looks like there's a, like a white box around your logo. Yeah, so maybe
1:21:36
try to do the transparent but still the same. Yeah.
1:21:41
So what I if you can, I don't know if you've got another version, like a horizontal version, but that will increase it slightly. But this is something that the team is aware of, and they are going to work on that. One of the things that they they're looking at pushing out here fairly soon is a lot more control over over branding and visuals for the site. So not necessarily, not necessarily changing the theme, but just more settings to kind of customize the look and feel
1:22:13
of the way we can apply, like a CSS code or HTML to make it more customized, something like that.
1:22:21
I So, we can, we, you can do some customized things. I know. I think there's been a couple of people in the past that have tried to adjust that logo box, and I don't believe they were able to with CSS. But you can try. I let me see. I think it's just under the Settings tab. Let's see smart directory. AI, settings, yeah, so if you click on settings in the top and then the last tab is custom code,
1:22:59
there you go. Yeah.
1:23:01
Get it. And one last question, Jason, we're actually planning to, you know, the reason why I asked for the premium plan, because on top of that, we're actually planning to do the one year offer of like, for example, if the client or the listing would sign up for the premium, they will also get an account, like a sub account directly in go high level. Will there be an automation, something like that,
1:23:33
to create a sub account?
1:23:35
Yeah, like automatic sub account once they sign up for the premium listing. I I'm
1:23:47
just trying to think how we could do it. So, currently, right now, so I've done this in the past. I've built, have you? Have you ever built custom actions?
1:24:01
We've done it from, you know, one of our clients, so, but it was from a different platform, right? So we tried to do it this way. Maybe it could also work, you know. So I don't stand that far yet. We're not, we haven't traded any action yet.
1:24:19
Okay, yeah, you could. So right now, the only way to create a sub account is for high level, anyway, is with their SaaS plan. So their SaaS Are you familiar with the different levels of high level, like the different Okay, so with their SaaS plan, if you have the SaaS plan, which is that 497, per month plan through high level, then you can tie your you can tie a payment page and payment plans through stripe to an order form. And then when somebody checks out and pays that, can create a sub account and set up all of their information. Into that sub account that's default through high level. But if you're a developer, or you have developers on your team, or you know how to develop, then you can create a custom action. I've built these in the past for clients of mine, where you can create that custom action and then put that custom action into a workflow, and you can do the same thing. So you you could bypass having to use the SaaS offering inside high level as far as like with SD AI, there is no custom action right now that's tied directly to SD AI, but you could build it. You could build that custom action and then tie that directly to your SD AI site. And it would do that, it would create the listing, and it would also create a sub account, and then it would also, you could have it email credentials to that customer so they could log into their new sub account. So, yeah, it can all be done. It's possible it's just not set up out of the box, and you'd have to build it. You'd have to build that custom action.
1:25:59
Got it? Yeah, yeah, I think that's it from that's all for me. Thank you so much.
1:26:03
Cool. Yeah, no worries, right?
1:26:07
Sheila, Oh, Hi, Jason, hi. I just had a question to kind of echo what Ruchika said in the chat. You know how we used to have those nice maps in the WordPress. Is that ever going to be duplicated here, where people can go and just see from the pins, you know, the you know what?
1:26:32
That's funny. I haven't heard anybody bring that up for quite a while. I think maybe when we first launched. I remember somebody talking about that, but I have not heard anything about that, and I don't know if that is on our canny board or not.
1:26:53
You said something about it in the chat.
1:26:59
Yeah, I think I was replying to a message. We have map views for the listings, but there is no map view to look for any new directory entries. So, yeah, you can put that on our candy board, and maybe everyone can upload that so that team can check.
1:27:27
I mean, technically speaking, yeah, it could definitely be built, but I don't, I haven't heard any plans of it in the works as of right now. So yeah, if it's not on the canning board already, Sheila, I would definitely go over there and get it added. And like rajika said, if enough people upvote it, then the team, the development team, will definitely take a look at it and get it added. I think it's kind of a cool feature. You know, have that live map and be able to move the map around and see the different pins.
1:27:59
So it's a good selling point too, because people who see that, oh, these people are already there, you know, right, you know.
1:28:08
So, yeah, I think it's kind of cool. So, yeah, if it's not already there, I would definitely put it up there.
1:28:14
Ruchika, are you going to put it up there? Yeah, sure. Thank you.
1:28:22
Bye, awesome. Thanks. Right mark, looks like you're up next.
1:28:29
Yeah, man, all right, hey, I took your advice and I started to build out that Contact Us page. And so you've seen my screen. Yeah, I can see your screen. Okay, so it kind of eventually got me into this section here, because I had to come into the GHL part, right? And so now, do I select funnel or website for linking this domain to it?
1:28:57
Remind me now, where's this contact page going,
1:29:03
it's going to this, contact us web Well, landing page that's in GHL. So, like, just how you just showed that other person, you got to build in GHL. So outside of
1:29:21
the SDA, so this SD spotlight.ai, is that? Is that already connected to your SDI site?
1:29:31
It is, yeah, it's connected to this.
1:29:34
Yeah, there's nothing you need to do then. So it's going so if you just go to that, those funnel pages and you you can add it right there. So if you click on that, oh, go back, go back to the live site real quick. Click on More. Do you see more in your top menu there? Okay, so all of those pages that you create, whether it's Terms of Service, privacy policy, contact us, about us, the. They're all going to show up unless you've moved them, unless you've placed them somewhere else on the menu, they'll show up under that more tab.
1:30:10
I hear you there, but there was also, I was building it there. There was, like, somewhere in the builder, there was a Contact Us button that popped up right here.
1:30:23
Yeah, I think you also need to create a sub domain for this funnel pages, right?
1:30:30
Yes, otherwise it will conflict with the main directory website and it will stop working.
1:30:36
Yeah. You can use Pages dot SBA spotlight your domain.
1:30:43
Okay, so create that sub domain first, right?
1:30:48
Sorry about that mark. I thought you'd already created that. But yes, the girls are right. So right here, under Select product type, funnel is what you want, and then where it says, Link domain with funnel, that's where you'll add a sub domain. And pages is an easy one, because it really doesn't matter, because you're never going to see it. It'll just be, it'll look as, it'll look like an internal page. So if you just put in here pages, dot
1:31:17
Jason, he already connected the main, main domain with go high level domains. So we need to fix the DNS records. I think he added the C name from here for the main domain. So you see he already connected the domain with the go high level domain,
1:31:40
right, but that the main domain that's connected to his SDI site, yes.
1:31:45
So we need to remove this domain first from the go high level domain. We need to fix the DNS records that he added for the go high level domain, and then we need to connect the sub domain over here.
1:31:57
Oh, okay, I didn't realize that he did, yeah, I just tried to pull up his site, you're right, yeah, yeah, it was, it wasn't connected. Correct, correctly.
1:32:04
Okay, okay, so what needs to happen there?
1:32:09
So click back to domains, and yeah, so we need to remove that from here. So go to manage, click on manage, and then DNS records to
1:32:26
remove the first two, Yeah,
1:32:31
that one's not even connected, but yeah, you can delete that and delete the SD spotlight.ai, yeah, the www. And then what we'll do is we'll edit the DNS records to include the IP address. Do I go to this redirects page? Yeah, because you'll have to delete the redirect before you're able to delete it there. Yeah, high level automatically creates these redirects.
1:32:59
So delete this guy too, yep, all right,
1:33:08
yeah. And then back to domains, so that you can it's right there at the top. Okay, yeah, right there. There you go. And then Manage again, and then you'll just remove that www. There you go. You go. Perfect. Now we can go to DNS records, and I can tell you what it is here real quick. Let me just pull it up.
1:33:38
Do I have to delete any of these because they might have been associated already.
1:33:43
Third one, I believe
1:33:46
a third. Let me see one, this one, yes, yeah, you will want to delete that one. That's correct, yep.
1:33:53
I'm not sure about the first one, because that is a different IP, right?
1:33:58
Yeah, the first one. We want to just see if we can edit. If we can't edit, yeah, we can. Okay, so edit and the IP that you want to put in there is going to be 104 so just delete that. So it'll be 104 period 236, period five, three, period 124, there you go. And then go ahead and hit update. Okay, so that's set up. Now we can do the sub domain, the pages sub domain
1:34:37
by adding a record, yeah.
1:34:40
Actually you can do it right here. Yeah, that's fine. Just click on that. Actually, you know what? Let's do it the other way, because they'll, they'll automatically add, I think it is sites.ludicrous.com, or something. But just click the back arrow. Oh. Right there, yep, there you go. Click connect, connect a domain, and then click the first option, funnel website, yep, and then inside here, just type in the word pages dot your domain, yep, and I hit continue and click the Continue button again, and
1:35:25
it should just automatically add it for you. Perfect, yep. Add records.
1:35:51
Are assessing,
1:35:59
okay, and this is where you'll link it to that funnel, the smart directory, AI, funnel, so from that drop down, click that, select smart directory.ai, about us is fine, and then just go, proceed to finish.
1:36:15
And I leave it as a funnel. Right, right. Yeah. Okay.
1:36:24
Yeah, and it's already working. I just pulled your site up on my end. So there you go. Now you can go to now you can go back, go into sites, go under funnels, and you can adjust all those pages. You can create new pages if you want all inside this same funnel, right?
1:36:46
And so when I fill out back down on smart directory the specific contact us button, it'll point to this to that page, website, right? Exactly. Yep, right, right. Okay. And then last question around domains is for the emailing domain, sub domain, you know, mail.sd, spotlight.ai, how do I get me set up in there? So it's like Mark at
1:37:15
so high level doesn't allow you to create inboxes just yet. Oh, that is something that they're working on. I don't know when it's going to be available. I know it got announced back in November, but I'm not sure when it's going to actually go live. But you can create so all you can do right now is a sending domain. So a sending domain and an email inbox are two different things right now, all we can control is the actual domain that emails come from. But we can't actually create, like, a dedicated inbox for a domain so that, but you you can control, like, who the email comes from. So if you wanted it to be mark at what is it? SD, spotlight.ai, you could set that up. I can show you where to go to do that. So you can control what the sending name is, or sending name and sending email are. So if you click on setting settings down the bottom left there,
1:38:13
because, like, it's got to send out for the automations, right,
1:38:15
right, yep. And then if you click on Email services, where up a little further towards the top there under calendars,
1:38:24
there you go.
1:38:27
And then click on view configuration for for mail, yep, right there, and click back to dedicated,
1:38:39
dedicated domain. Yep,
1:38:40
dedicated domain. Click these three dots right up here, and then click on Set headers. Header, yep. So this is where you can put in your default from name and your default from email, and that's what will be passed along when you send an email. Now, the only thing that I would say here for the from email, if you don't want it to get flagged so spam filters are increasingly, yeah, exactly, there you go. Cool, yeah, you get the idea. That's it. Oh, no, no, I would do, I would do AI there.
1:39:23
Oh yeah, sorry, my bad. Thanks, dude.
1:39:28
Yep. That's all you got to do, right?
1:39:31
Because then that'll that'll work in the automations.
1:39:34
Yep, killer, yeah. Now every email that comes from the system will automatically default to this. I love it.
1:39:41
You're the man. Sorry, rachika, I think that was her in there, right? The woman.
1:39:49
Sorry, yeah, awesome. Anything else? Mark, no, that's it. Thanks. Jason, yep, no worries. Take care. All right.
1:39:59
Bill. Do you have another question? I just wanted to let you know I got my website is okay now? Awesome, fantastic. There was a hidden setting in in Gmail or Google I've never seen before that would that allow something about allow the site to save data and it kept the site from getting through at all. And I, I got to it by clicking the not secure, and that had that open the menu, and there was three menu, menu settings within that. One of them was, Do not allow setting to do not allow the site to save data on this on your computer. Okay, that was stopping everything. So once I, once you click that, once I switch that to allow everything was okay, it still says not secure, and I can't figure out why, but I'll figure that out later. So, but now it
1:40:57
shows, it showed secure on my end. So yeah, so it might be just another browser setting, okay, yeah, because it was showing up perfectly secure on my end. What was the site?
1:41:10
One more time, let me pull it up. Springs business hub.com, that's
1:41:14
right, yep. Springs business hub, yeah, it's showing secure on my end.
1:41:18
Oh, good. Okay, yep, I'll figure that out. Then. Okay, thank you for all your help.
1:41:25
Of course. Yeah, no problem. Thank you, Nikki. You have a question.
Go ahead and unmute, Nikki, if you're ready.
1:41:45
Okay, I on my website. I'm going to see if I can share my screen.
1:41:56
Can you see my screen?
1:41:58
Yeah, it's pulling up. Just there it is. Yep, now we can see it.
1:42:02
I went into the brand page and I updated. I got my logo up here, and I was able to get this down here, but it did not. Is it supposed to update these as well? These empty fields, mine didn't update, or this section right here. Not sure why it didn't update
1:42:24
the support where it says support, local,
1:42:26
yeah, does that stay there or no,
1:42:29
there's another, I think there's another logo for that or setting. Let me see.
1:42:39
Where is that at. That's the arc logo, which isn't
1:42:43
that's Oh, the auth logo, yep. Okay, cool, yeah. So if you go back under branding and go to general Nikki, if you want to go, if you go back into high level and go to the SD AI app,
1:42:56
if I put this over here, can you see my screen now? Yep, we can see it, yep, okay. Now, Can you guide me? Because I'm not really familiar, yeah.
1:43:05
So let's just hit the Go Back button up there, and then scroll to the bottom and click on smart directory, AI, and then
you're going to click on branding.
1:43:28
And then this is the, oh, it looks like you did. Interesting.
1:43:33
Okay, what's your what is your domain?
1:43:40
It is montcoprobiz.com
1:43:48
can you just spell that for me,
1:43:50
M, O, M, O, N, T, C, O, T, C, R, O, B, I, z.com.
1:44:18
Hmm, actually, Jason, that's not where you change that. Um, it's under Content, home page, main content. It's not the auto logo logic,
1:44:36
oh, it's under Say it one more time. What was that stuff?
1:44:39
Okay, under branding. Content, home page, main content,
1:44:47
Oh, that's right. Okay,
1:44:49
that's where you change that image. I see
1:44:52
that right there. Okay, yeah, I got awesome. Thanks. Thank you so much. You're welcome.
1:45:04
Thank you. Any other questions, Nikki, or was that the only one?
1:45:08
That's the only one for today? Okay,
1:45:10
perfect, awesome. Thank you. Yeah, no problem. All right, guys, well, it looks like that. Brings us to the end of the call. I don't think anybody's got any other questions. Doesn't look like there's anything else.
1:45:27
Oh, mind if I ask a quick question? Sure. Yeah, go right ahead, Chris. Do you have any experience in working with custom objects and integrating them into a smart directory?
1:45:38
I do have quite a bit of experience with custom objects, just not with smart directory. No, okay, but what questions do you have around custom objects?
1:45:47
Oh, for the directory, I'm still looking at this whole thing. I just found out about it Saturday, okay, and so the directories I want to create are really revolve around things like cars and, you know, having Smart Objects, and say, you know, 68 Mustang the standards were this, and then you can integrate them in with the VIN number. And, you know, for classic car collectors and things like that,
1:46:15
sure, sure. So custom objects would work perfect for that. I know that the team right now is working on a new directory type. I don't believe I haven't heard any I haven't heard anybody talk about opening up directory types so that they can be customized. But the next directory type that they're building right now is a people directory. You know, we started with the business directory. The next one will be a people directory. I don't, I don't think I've heard anything about an object directory, which is basically what you're you're kind of talking about where you could have cars, Vin, numbers, those types of things. So and I haven't heard any, I haven't heard the team talk about opening it up to where you could create kind of a custom, basically create your own custom object that would integrate directly with the directory right now. I mean, I know it's possible, but as as it sits right now, I don't think that, because we don't have an API either with SD AI, so there's no way that we could even, you know, programmatically, you could do it on the back end, it would, it would have to be something that that our dev team builds, that integrates, that allows you to do, you know, basically, create that custom object that you could then import into or build around, inside, in, in SD. Ai, yeah. Okay, yeah, yeah, there's just not. I'm trying to think of like a workaround for you, but I don't think that there's really anything we can do at this point.
1:48:16
Well, that's the whole point of exploration, right? Yeah, exactly, yeah, try to figure out what's already done that you can I mean, it can
1:48:24
certainly be done with high level. So I've built, I don't know if you are you developer at all.
1:48:33
You have some device. I have more than 90% of the population, but not enough to be proficient. I'm enough to be dangerous.
1:48:42
Okay, so high level did open up the the website builder, this was several months ago last year, and you can create custom widgets onto so, like the the website builder or the funnel builder. So you can create your own custom widgets. And so if you have some development experience or you wanted to hire a developer, what I've done in the past, it wasn't for, you know, classic cars or anything like that, but we did build a custom widget that tied directly to custom objects, and that would pull in data. And we was was dynamic, pull in live dynamic data onto a high level page, like a website page.
1:49:26
Probably in about three months, AI will be able to do that for me with the coding platforms. Could be,
1:49:35
sorry, yeah, so that is possible. You could you just, it's just not possible with SD AI, right now,
1:49:42
got it? Yeah, okay, hey, thanks very much appreciate.
1:49:45
Yeah, no problem, of course, right guys? Well, I think I'm going to wrap it up here. Thank you everybody for showing up on the call. Appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you, Steph, thank you, rachika, you guys are awesome. Always appreciate you guys. Thanks for helping me out. Everybody. Have a great week. We're here every Tuesday, answering questions, taking, you know, taking your questions, working through any problems, any bugs that we find, we'll pass along to the team. Couple things. I've got some things in my notes that I'm going to pass along. But yeah, if you guys have questions between now and next Tuesday, please take advantage of our support desk. That's why we have them there. Support Team is fantastic. They're there seven days a week, answering questions and taking care of you guys. And then if you need that, your question maybe needs some more context, or you want to kind of workshop some ideas, or just come here and and listen or ask questions live. That's why we're here. Every Tuesday we're here for about two hours. So again, really appreciate each and every one of you guys. I hope everybody has a fantastic week, and we will see you guys all next week. Take care everybody. You.
